i’m not famous or anything but i’ve been harassed and followed, and abused physically.emotionally, mentally. when i was 14 i was walking to my local shop bc i wanted to watch a movie that night so i went to get snacks etc. some man tried to grab me and so 14 year old me didn’t know what to do, first thought is to elbow him hard and run so i did that. recently, i was walking home from seeing my ex (when we were together) and it was kind of dark but had some light in the sky still, a man walked past me and i heard this man stop walking behind me and just stared at me and looking at what i was wearing like he has bad intentions (it was a hot summer day and i was wearing jorts and a cropped-ish t shirt with a jacket) i crossed the road so i jaywalked as i felt unsafe and i was scared. i forgot to mention that i was assaulted a bunch of times, and im extremely scared of being assaulted again, sexually. ever since, im extremely frightened of men in the uk, or any men. the only men id actually feel safe around is if i was with jake and johnnie because they’re actually respectful men, and we need more men like them. i hope all of this make sense, and i hope what i wrote day, makes people think that they’re not alone. to anyone thats reading this, what ever has happend to you, it’s not your fault, you deserve the love and justice that you deserve, and i hope you’re doing okay 💗

Trust me as someone who’s been through similar stuff aswell, go to therapy. Not being mean, just genuinely please do. It has helped me so so much. Go on a self defense sport too! It’ll boost confidence, knowing that you can fight for yourself! I’m in the netherlands and these things happen everywhere i’m afraid. However, than you for sharing and I hope you are safe from now on!

so the whole photo thing was because she was in public and on the phone with her therapist, and she was visibly upset and someone actually came up to her asking for a photo while she was crying and upset- which is FUCKED up. just because these things are "normalized" for celebrities (what the fuck even is a celebrity atp) doesn't make them right and i think a lot of people fail to realize that. but we also have to be aware of parasocial relationships within it as well, there's really two sides to this. i saw a video of a girl who felt bad for taylor swift and posted a video for her crying and saying she could dm her if she ever needed anything and it just makes me sad atp. we dont know these ppl and we likely never will and i think a lot of fans, especially the younger ones tend to forget that.
