My brotha the date is July 19 2022. Taking your back into time..the date was 1978 Los Pequeñitos were going to play at a wedding I was going to host since I worked at KVOU Uvalde TeXas/KYUF. They asked me to go get “Los Musicos”. I opened the back door and there were these kids wrestling each other. One of y’all had one of the other brother in a headlock on the ground with grass all in y’all’s hair sweating up a storm the other was fist fighting in the air with “WHO” I have no idea who he was fighting with! And the other one was grabbing rocks throwing them up at the light post trying to knock the corner light out! I stood there and thought to myself..”Surly these aren’t “Los Musicos”..Los Pequeñitos”..Que van a tocar en la Boda?! I said the band needs to get in and start and all of a sudden all 4 of y’all stopped chocking each other and stopped fighting with the invisible man and the other put down all his rocks down..and y’all came in picked up the instruments that were much bigger than y’all at that time and then I saw you with the accordion bigger than you when y’all started playing and y’all blew my mind!!..fast forward Los Gorrioncillos came about..fast forward 1992 My DJ friend SuperLoop and myself started KICK-FM december 2 1992 in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Tejano was finally born in North TeXas! Y’all were part of all that and let me tell you..To see the phase of Los Palominos come about to who y’all were was a journey that stands out on its own. And now to see you my Friend playing TeJano Christian music is so awesome cuz I had given my life to CHRIST since I was 7 years old. To hear you play this is awesome and Our KING JESUS notices this. Great albums great songs that make you want to shout..For our LORD..may the LORD keep blessing all of you..just one little story of a small group of kids who became who y’all are and Loving the LORD is MORE awesome cuz you can’t go wrong!
