I liked it on first listen but didn't think it was up with his best but after about 5 spins it has revealed it's brilliance to me.

Hi Bob. I recently saw one of your earlier videos where you played with some friends. The music you played reminded me of one of my favorite guitarists, named Larry Cornell. I would like to recommend one of his earlier lp’s which is from 1969, and it’s called Coryell. Check the songs sex and elementary guitar solo#5, it’s magic 🎸

My copy was also flat and quiet so I was happy about that especially after seeing all the comments on discogs. I did see an interview where Sturgill said all he did was plug in his Les Paul and play that for the record, so good ears!
