I was very lucky to see Sammy in Vegas in 1977. Frank Sinatra's Mother had been lost in a plane crash and he filled in. Best show I have ever seen!!!

Allways loved and admired Sammy ! I was working in Beverley Hills on the rebuild of Pickfair / top of Summit Drive ! In May 1990 we arrived for work ...the road was closed off ! Sammy lived across the street and had died the nite before ! The street was full of press and satellite trucks ! Amazing thinking back to those days 😕 Over the next few days Limo after Limo drove up into Sammys House! He really was incredible! Had the chance to see him in Vagas in 88 with Jerry Lewis ...but opted for another show ! Really regret that 😕! Cheers 🥂

Name me another performer who can act on both television and film, dance, do comedy, and sing. The man is the complete entertainer.

My grandmother subscribed to JET Magazine, and I absolutely remember that cover photo. I would later learn that Sammy became passionate about cooking to keep himself occupied while un-learning a long habit of life with drugs. Also, one thing that I'm a little fuzzy on: I think it was around this time that Sammy and Jerry Lewis had reconciled after not speaking for a few years.
@trishlangford5773 Жыл бұрын
No it was Dean Martin that Jerry Lewis fell out with and then reconciles. Sammy and Jerry were continuously friends.😊😊
