Yes they are. That's one of his strongpoints. I like that he always used to sympathize with underdogs in his songs too 60's youth movement, prisoners, soldiers, Hobo's.... I respect that in a songwriter.

If love has taught me anything in life, It's that never wait on anyone, don't stress out so much over things that's out of your control. You can only do so much in a relationship. You can do everything in your power to save a relationship BUT it needs the both of you making a FULL EFFORT to fix things. And most importantly IF someone really wants to be in a relationship with you OR talk to you they will make an effort to contact you, even if it's not alot of talking

Just to hear that voice again...what a blessing. Saw Johnny in concert in Memphis in 1970 with June, her Mom and sisters, and the Tennessee Two. Carl Perkins, the Statler Brothers, and Tommy Cash were on the bill, also. Johnny introduced Tex Ritter who was in the crowd that night. What a show!
