What a character. He likes to stir up laughter and fun where ever he goes. I think he's super shy and being clever takes the spotlight off him personally, but he does really appreciate the audience and his fans. He knows they pay the bills because they love him and buy tickets to see his movies and whatever else he has, appearances. He knows what working hard is like and he never wants to disappoint anyone. He has a huge heart. He flirts with the audience AND HE KNOWS WHAT SELLS. When he portrays a character in a film he knows who the audience will connect with while producers are making a film and do not really have time to feel what that character is giving back to the audience. Johnny has that magic, that connection with people. Especially with children. I remember one Halloween a little girl was dressed up like a pirate. I said, "Oh, we have a pirate here." She came back at me with. "I'M NOT JUST ANY PIRATE, I'M THE LEGENDARY JACK SPARROW!" I was thinking, who the heck is Jack Sparrow? I never watched a whole lot of Johnny Depp films, that began and ended with his show on 21 JUMP STREET. So, I had egg on my face. I saw a few of his movies, where he played a doctor addicted to opium, the Pirates movie and a few others. He was very good, but I was never ga ga over him. I guess I see what I've been missing. He's very funny off camera and HE LOVES HIS FANS AND APPRECIATES THEM, ESPECIALLY LITTLE ONES. He's really WONDERFUL. He's not just an actor IMO, he's a true movie star, just like in the old days. He appreciates everything he has and he appreciates the people who catapulted him there. He has and never will forget them. ❤❤❤🌸 to Johnny.
