As a hospice nurse I can tell you that cancer patients aren’t easy to visit for a lay person! I’ve watched Johnny go to Children’s Hospital & put his arms around children with feeding tubes,catheter bags on their little legs & it didn’t faze him! Now that’s a hero! I’m 45, so I grew up watching him. Never once...did I ever see any allegations from previous girlfriends etc... it’s my experience that abusers follow a pattern. There’s no way this guy gets to be however old he is...then just suddenly..starts beating women. And I must live under a rock, because up until last month....I seriously never heard of Amber Heard....or however the heck her name is spelled. Nothing but love and respect for Johnny, Now he and I have something in common. We have both married and divorced a narcissist and sociopath who destroyed our careers -- for a while at least. Mine lasted 10 years and the mental toll of the lying, the gaslighting and cruelty were awful, but finding out how much of a monster he really was devastated me. I was in poor health. We had only been married about a year when I became very ill and by the time 3 different specialists were done hacking away at me, my life was never the same. I've been in pain 24/7 ever since. I offered to divorce him multiple times. I'd have never married anyone had I known how sick I was about to become. Even though I kept working and maintained a higher income than my husband as will as benefits, I felt like a failure as a wife. I couldn't get pregnant, there were times the pain was so bad I couldn't bear to be touched, and I told him, just tell me, and we can end this, just don't lie to me or cheat on me. And he dedicated himself to both pursuits our entire marriage. Any way, once I actually listened to the tapes, it was really triggering. The mocking cruelty to purposely drive him to react was so much like what my ex husband did to me it left me shaky, and out of breath. For her, she wanted a fist fight, for my ex, he would pick at me till he made me cry. I'd see it coming. Some days he just had a mean look. I think he has a permanent mean streak, he just doesn't always bother to hide it. And then he'd go at me over and over, and once I cried, it is impossible to describe. It's like people with a fetish, they need to hear glass break, or a joint pop or what ever gets them off, and then he'd be blissful, then force me into a hug and "forgive" me for starting a fight. Team Johnny all the way.

It's been about 12 years since my divorce, and every day I still get hit by the bills he never paid with the money I was killing myself to make so he cold go have his girlfriends. He'd ask for something for xmas, and I'd pull out all the stops to get it for him. I got him one of those bi stand mixers. Never used it once. He never used or expressed the slightest interest in anything I ever got him. I'd beat myself up because if there is one thing that is universally acknowledged, EVERYONE wants me to be there secret santa. I don't spend a lot, I just put a lot of thinking and waiting and planning to bring it together. I'd buy the gaming consoles he wanted, the games he wanted, Nope. It's only now, all this time later that I think he did it on purpose. Either he didn't want it, or seeing my disappointment that he didn't care about it gave him more pleasure out of it. In the end I'd just say, be sure you tell me what I got you this year. You can spend $150. That isn't the type of shit that goes away over night, may it never goes away.
