I disagree. He rudely interrupted him more times than I cared to count, cutting him off mid sentence. Larry King was "the king" because he was advertised as "the king." He was just a familiar face & voice on a familiar TV interview show, and now everyone says he was the GOAT. I'd tend to think Joe Rogan does a more interesting interview. Of course, he's got a >3hr format, but that extra ~2 hours changes everything.

I've seen Larry King interview hundreds of celebrities, but it is clear here he is enchanted by Johnny Depp's authentic self. Depp is deep, intelligent, witty, well read, engaging, comfortable with Larry, excited to share his passions articulately, yet state his limits in a kind polite way, gracious about his fame and appreciative. #justiceforjohnny

Watching this, end of May 2022 and the day of closing arguments for the trial, I realized something. I truly believe Johnny’s substance abuse was a coping mechanism. Him trying to survive Amber H abuse. I personally think the substance abuse was OVER exaggerated by Amber and her buddies but his use age was probably more because he just had difficulty coping with the abuse. It was his way out. Can you imagine living with that narcissist AH??in my 20’s I survived a truly abusive husband and I can tell you THERE IS NO WAY I could have talked to him as terrible as she talked to Johnny and still be ALIVE to write this today. She is a liar and I am just glad that Johnny didn’t lose his life while trying to cope with her wicked presence. I hope the jury sees through her.
@rhondalarimore81962 жыл бұрын
I agree about the coping mechanism. Don’t think he was like that with Vanessa. I think Amber saw $$$
@karencox8240 Жыл бұрын
In one of the many audio tapes of their arguments he basically says what you just said. The substance abuse was his way of coping with her haranguing and belittling of him. It's in a recording toward the end of their relationship when she is complaining about his substance abuse to him and that is he says that to her (not exactly how I just said it, I was paraphrasing.

Love Johnny Depp!! My straight guy man crush. But I hate to say. .he was so blessed with his first wife, and their lovely children (his eyes sparkle whenever he talks about them)...it seems as if he gave into temptation with Amber Heard and it's clear that he made the wrong choice and has/is/will be paying the price. Though I think all happens for a reason; it's pretty clear, at least in the realm of public opinion, he has won this case against Amber. This is not just his victory but a victory for humanity and the wrongfully accused--people will now think twice before they join a bandwagon. Anyways, as cliche and even goody goody as it sounds....marriage and family 👪 is the ultimate blessing from God...don't take it for granted folks.

Thompson for example, what is he? He is an American. Johnny is committed to the utmost to make this movie based on a book written by an American that the world will only know because of Johnny. And he also shows the native Americans to the world, always concerned about the dignity of this people.

It is really sad how Johnny's physical appearance changed so much in the short time he was with Amber Heard after this interview. From listening to the tapes in the divorce trial, it sounds like he went through hell. The poor guy was trying to keep up with someone 25 years younger, who turned out to be a spoiled, narcissistic little brat that loved arguing and fighting! When Johnny would not agree to to her divorce terms awarding her the penthouses, 50k a month in spousal support among other of Johnny's possessions, Amber told Johnny she would lie to the media and destroy him. She was able to fool the media, but not a jury of his peers or his loyal fans.
