@@jonathansalgado3013 I’m a lawyer, and I think the judge tolerates a lot of behaviour many others would not. Johnny is likely to lose $50 million because there is some evidence of him being abusive and the argument about his firing from Pirates of The Caribbean could reasonably be attributed to tardiness, drug use and bad publicity; but Amber will likely also lose her counter-claim for $100 million. In terms of reputation and future employability, though, Amber is the clear loser by a long shot. What many people in the KZbin comments section fail to understand is that an attorney can only assist their client to the best of their knowledge. Amber’s character and ability to lie, charm, manipulate and obfuscate likely didn’t help her counsel to develop a winning strategy. It can be extremely difficult to defend a client who isn’t cooperative. I think people need to lay off the lawyers, they didn’t bank on Johnny Depp providing such strong testimony on the stand. It isn’t many people who would admit to illegal drug use, being beaten by their spouse and holding up so well under cross examination. You can’t tell how a witness will handle cross examination nor what others will recall, remember or how they will entice the jury until the witness takes the stand. It is further exacerbated by the fact that their client has two personality disorders. They also have to try and guide someone with a mental health condition that is resistant to facts, criticism and stability. They are really doing their best and likely aren’t bad attorneys under normal circumstances. You would need to have lived with a personality disordered individual to know how difficult it can be to get facts - and consistent ones at that - out of them.

What did he say? Amber drank $165,000 worth of wine? JFC! This woman is something else. This lines up with what Ben King testified to. He provided wine by the case when he was their house manager. Amber was home most of the time drinking between 1-2 bottles of wine all by herself, PER DAY. Johnny was gone all day at the time filming a movie. Ben King testified that Johnny only had wine at that time occasionally. He was too busy being gone all day filming. Amber Heard is basically a succubus. Oof. Imagine being married to this woman.

The number of times when her lawyers (especially Elaine Bredehoft) seem to be all excited because they think they will have a "Ah ha, gotcha!" moment and the witness just says "no that's incorrect" Amber can't have told them the whole truth so these poor lawyers have to work with lies. So she was essentially demanding 50 million from him after over a year of abusing him. Let's hope the judge ups the defamation settlement when she's found guilty. She should be responsible for the 50 million she's been leeching off of him and the 50 million he lost from the defamation. Not only did she abuse him, but she also cost him over $100,000,000 in the process and throughout the aftermath. She should be liable for every cent if not more.

Is this judge nuts? I would have reprimanded her legal counsel a bunch of times for this "here-say" nonsense. If you're an accountant who knows the finances inside and out, what you're saying isn't here-say, it's fact. That's the whole reason he's there. Why is the judge allowing this? All the judge has to say is, "one more of these objections that are clearly unfounded and I'm finding you in contempt of court and wasting the court's time." It should contempt of court, right?
