Dude is one of the greats! Fell in love with this very first time i heard it....and followed everything he has done since. I am a fan of many musos from Elmore James to Elvis to Prince andvof course Barnsey...but when Diesel hit the scene.... man....i wanted to be him...the look, the style, the guitar playing, the voice and the song writing. He is the real deal. Terribly under appreciated talent in my opinion. 53 now, and still rock out to this great mans tunes. 🎸🤘😎

Diesel has aged like fine wine, and his live version of this is fantastic. I live in a part of Australia that has very few music acts travel that far. Everytime Diesel comes to town, I damn well make sure I got my tickets. 😂

went to a 60 thousand peeps concert here in nz...the bill was knightshade..noiseworks(John stevens). diesel and the injectors and bon jovi headline...diesel put them all to shame!!!

Diesel is a firecracker of a musician! Never thought of him as a James Dean type - but he's very quietly spoken, and when I saw him live, he hardly ever looked at the audience, so maybe you're right 😅

Haha yeh saxophones were everywhere in the late 80s, Tina Turner had that big dude touring the world, Clarence in the E street band, Eurythmics, Lost Boys Movie could go on! Pony Boy Diesel😉 Johnny Diesel and the Injectors was a great Driving Album.

Johnny Diesel and the Injectors was the headline of my first ever concert experience. The support act was also great, they were a local band called The Poor Boys, they had a little harder edge than Diesel and had a minor hit with "More wine, waiter, please", they had to change their name to ""The Poor" to release it outside Australia, so they did.

Hi Nic... so great to hear this again......I still know all of the words...Still have the CD of their album ❤ I've never thought of the comparison to Mark aka Diesel to James Dean but now I see it. I think he also looks a little similar to Johnny Depp at this stage. The band is great, and yep, we had a lot of sax in Aussie music ..... I love it but you don't hear it as much now. I think that's a shame as it does add so much to the sound. Wish I could have played the sax. Instead I played the French horn 😂

Mark Lizotte, known professionally as Diesel, is Jimmy Barnes' brother-in-law (they married sisters). Diesel often plays with Jimmy. In fact, you have reacted to more of his work than you realise. Diesel has far less hair these days. Don't Need Love was his debut single released in 1989.

never thought he looked like James Dean. This was a common look for guys in the late 80's - early 90's. Johnny Depp, the guys from Beverly Hills 90210.
