I much prefer to listen to these old radio shows than watch what passes for entertainment today. Thank you, for sharing with the rest of us.

It's old fashioned awesome intelligent, entertainment that you don't have to stomach. I enjoy the Men of the time and the real Men of this time. SWJ trying to destroy the nature of Men and women of our time. My grandchildren know Johnny Dollar, Philip marlow and the Nero Wolf's of old, their values and courage are being introduced back into today by YOUR'S TRULY, GRANDMA GRANNY LOL

When I grew up I had missed the radio drama entertainment, yet for a very short time in the mid 70's an offbeat station played Sunday night plays. What a hoot! Ever since then I've been searching for cassettes and/or CD's of copied shows and found 2 in 2014! Thank you so much

I was a very young child in the late 40s and 50s and remember listening to those. I became mesmerized as I listened. Unfortunately I was working in the 70s when the newer ones were on. I always wanted to find those old radio shows. So excited to get my first tablet and found KZbin. Tv is a wasteland, especially all those inane comedies they show; just fed up with the whole tv scene.

interesting to multiply these expense items by ten to see what an item would cost today. Flying from Colon Panama to Hartford for $400. Thats $4K in today dollars. Even at short notice (ignoring Covid effects) today you could do it for well under $600...that is $60 in 1950 dollars. So air travel is much cheaper.

Daniel Reyes; You have good taste! They are both Agatha Christie mysteries, and have been widely produced in old movies, books, and most of all, in plays.. If you look up the 'synopsis' for each they will describe the general plot. That should reveal which one you listened to. Both are well worth the read, or 'listen', or even 'watch', if you will.
