Yes I agree. A good example is Michael Chandler (Ex-Bellator Champion) Chandler has looked terrible in the UFC. Got finished by multiple UFC fighters.

Not a single bellator champ has ever gone on to be a long reigning UFC champ as far as i'm aware. Eddie is the only one i know of and he lost it in his first defence. Whereas pretty much all the UFC fighters that left went on to be very successful in Bellator, many have gone on to be bellator champs. Bader, Pettis, Cyborg, Mousasi, Rory, to name a few.

To be fair, he had an 8 or 9 win streak, for his first title, which was around what Leon and Usman had, too, for their fight title fight. So that first title fight of Colby was legit. The 2nd and this up coming, it's pure White Privilege, as Tony said (Tony had 12 straight wins at 155 and never got a title shot, so he has the right to feel pissed). Regardless, Leon is lucky in that at his very peak, he's the lone survivor from his age group, of prime guys between 30 - 33. Colby, Burns, Belal, Usman, WB... they are all older or elderly and zero of them is going to win against the 31/32 year-old 6'2" elite striker who also develop enough wrestling to take Usman down, mount him, and take his back, coming within a breath of subbbing him, except for the bell. Leon's true challenge starts with 29 year-old Shavkat; he beats WB and he's likely competiting, neck in neck, with Belal for the next title fight (after Dana White Affirmative Action Colby).... @@Sphynxxx719

Leon will most likely TKO colby but theres a good chance Colby might win a decision however, Edwards will more than likely pull out a 49-46 or too lesser level 50-45 clean sweep, but Covington may even edge a split decision if he can put Edwards on mat humps for 3 rds, moreover Colby can even get submitted by Leon with a RNC in rd 2

I hate when guys act as if they made the choice to not fight in the ufc. And then also say they wish they could cross promote. You either A. Don’t have ufc skills or B. Made the wrong decision and went with another promotion. But the UFC doesn’t cross promote with other mma organizations and they’re not gonna. If your truly talented they do bring guys over.

You should add a little more context. Because neither option provided is exactly the end all. A fighter may not have "UFC skills".....yet. and even that doesn't make sense. Not all of the top tier fighters in the world fight for the UFC. The UFC is the top brand for MMA, but to say they have ALL of the top levels of talent is arguable. Hence the wishes for the options for cross promotion, which will never happen. And that's partially why alot of guys/gals don't sign with the UFC. Guys want flexibility. But alot of fighters also don't have the leg to stand on, to pick and choose early in their career. The UFC has a stranglehold on the sport. So alot of guys/gals don't feel like they ultimately have a choice. But it's not as black and white as you make it to be.
