Enjoy!

I love how he recreated his double tracked lead vocal of his recordings with his keyboardist.

John was very unique. He came up with a sound like no other,by combining jazz, blues, and funk. He played by his own rules, and never followed the latest trends of the 70'S.

Wonder why they sped it up so much?? This tune can sit so nice and funky riding that bass line in the pocket at the regular tempo. This sounds sloppy

The conditions of the live performance, other desires probably, to play differently, to find oneself in the nuance and to do otherwise from time to time... Nothing seems to have been dictated by the constraint, the groove is excellent, different from the version on the record, of course, but also excellent, no?
@SuperC55AMG

@@purzu69 I understand playing a song differently live not to sound exactly like the record. But this tempo is just too fast. I dont know if you know what a Moog keyboard is, but the original bass line played on a Moog keyboard is just crushing.

Yeah, WOW. How Lame! I just didn't feel it. I'm sorry but I've been a big fan of JGW for many years. It would 've been nice to see him actually play the guitar and jam like he used to. This was dissapointing. . It was like he was just jumping around all coked up, trying to get the crowd all hyped up and to get all the laughs and the high fives. He was such a talented guitarist, but I just didnt see it on that stage, but that crowd was so lit up, I'm sure they all had a great time. But if he tried to do that back home in Houston, some one would have thrown a bottle at him and told him to simmer down and play the guitar. Oh well, I guess I'll just listen to the record again... Thanks anyway for posting it. Do you got any clips of him actually playing and not just showboating?

@@bobbyboyderecords Racist Huh? You people really crack me up. and yeah " You People ". I don't think you know what the word means. When I say "you people" I mean the people that are ignorant , uneducated, misguided, and misinformed. And nobody cares what you think anyway. Yeah "you people". The ones that are so quick to throw out the racist card no matter what the circumstances. OMG, I voiced my opinion on a Johnny Guitar Watson performance that I thought was under par for his usual skill level. That's Racist? I realize that your prob just some lonely punk kid that has no friends and is very sad. And that your being poor and uneducated probably doesn't help your situation. But its OK dude. Just because your Mom has made a career of being on welfare and recieving food stamps so she could feed you and your ten bothers and sisters and that none of you don't have a father or your fathers in the home and have to settle for her ex con child molester boyfriend as a father figure, don't mean you can't break out of the cycle. If you practice and study real hard you can be a world class guitarist, just like Guitar Watson. I know you can do it! Racism or not! Oh but that's right I almost forgot. Nobody Cares.... Be careful next time you play the racism card, It's just not a good look for you. Learn what it means first. If you think I was being racist, Then you've never been a victim of racism before. I went easy on you. Wait till you see someone dragged behind a pick up truck. Now that's racism... Silly Rabbit.

@@henryshockem9242 Is only getting dragged behind a pickup truck racism? Wow extreme. I am from UK so we don't have racism, so was not really sure what is meant. Sorry to have upset you, I have learned a lot today, thank you.

@@bobbyboyderecords Ok Bobby. I may have went a little hard on you, but it really sorta irritated me that you threw out the racist card on me and I still don't know why? I mean I was only voicing my opinion on JGW's performance. Hardly racist at all. But OK, no big deal. But You must understand that over here in the good 'ol USA a lot of people throw that word around with out good cause and it's a very powerful and inflammatory word. Especially in todays social and political climate. So You seem to think there is no racism in the U.K.? C'mon Bobby, you cant be that young an naieve. Of course there is racism. Wherever there are people that look and talk different from each other, it's gonna be there. In one form or another. and going both ways. It's not just a white problem. I know plenty of people that are of different colors, and races and religions who bash anyone who is not just like them. Intolerance is part of the human condition. About the "dragging behind a truck thing" Google Jasper Texas and put in those words and read the story. Americas record on racism is very well known and nothing to be proud of, for sure. But it's alive and well in the U.K. as well. Just on a different level. Sorry, I wanted to keep this short. But it's sorta hard to do that with this topic. Again I apologize for being so angry with you, and I hope your not just trolling me. I'm sure we can all use a refresher course on tolerance. I hope this cleared this up a bit for you. Peace be with you my friend...
