Elvis had a magic charisma to him that made him seem special, larger than life. That’s one thing Elvis impersonators just don’t have, just can’t fake that magic.

He had a great Elvis voice but he looked so nervous on this video. He was even able to talk like Elvis too. In stayed in character with his interview. He was truly a great Elvis impersonator. Now days they call them Elvis Tribute Artists, probably because it’s much harder to really impersonate Elvis.

One of the world's finest Elvis impersonators! This blows my mind! Saw him on the 1991 special, The Elvis Files, hosted by Bill Bixby. That was shortly before my first US Army enlistment. I was a small boy, (late 1970's- early 80's) saw him perform at Joe Julian's club in Las Vegas. He rocked my world. I met him, it was as if I met Elvis! I was on Cloud Nine for a week! His backup group were the Hammon(Hammond Bros) and their sister, Little Annie. He brought me up out of the audience , put his arm around me and gave me a beautiful scarf that smelled like fine cologne. My father had been his attorney at one time. Magical memory!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🏋️🏋️🏋️🏋️🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩Annie Hammon, my first crush! It just feels strange. It’s like his identity is Elvis. He try’s to talk like Elvis with the little stutter and the every thing. The thing with these Elvis “tribute artists”is they are cashing in on the look, sound, and image that Elvis created. Elvis had the hit songs, made the movies , sold out concerts ect. These guys just replicate what’s already been done. I guess for the sake of entertainment I’m ok with it . I’m just get a real bad vibe when those fellas start doing the whole Elvis thing when they’re not singing or off stage. Some are very good today but you realize how much of a pale comparison most are when you watch a clip of an actual Elvis concert, listen to some Elvis studio outtakes or watch a clip from an Elvis movie.

Uncanny resemblance to Elvis, leading some to believe Johnny was related to Elvis. If Johnny had had plastic surgery to lessen the flare of his nostrils - as Elvis did in the mid-1950s - the resemblance would’ve been even greater.

Good look alike and a pretty good duplication of the voice, but this is NOT ELVIS. The best impersonator I have seen and heard though. However, even a replica is not the original. You cannot learn or manufacture a quality that cannot be defined. Elvis Aaron Presley was a phenomenon. He was authentic real and utterly unique, and he touched our souls like no other entertainer before him or since him. Maybe he truly was "A Prince from Another Planet"
