This style of music is called "Danger Jazz". It was popular as a theme for adventure shows in the 50s and 60s.

I think this is the one that was released on Television's Greatest Hits Volume II. I was glad that a version minus the sound effects was out there. Awesome theme song and makes a great ringtone too.

Seeing the four lead characters here has made me realise they drew the two juveniles as too small. The characters Jonny Quest and Hadji were meant to be about 11 or 12 years old but their height suggests them to be 5 or 6 years old. The illustration shows the kids to be under 4 feet high where an average 11 or 12-year-old would be about shoulder-height to an adult.

Why does it always look like from the views that almost all of the United States has forgotten about the greatest cartoon ever formulated? Was born in '98 and somehow loved it more than those who could have watched it in the 60's.

RA9U1- I disagree. I was born in '57, watched Jonny Quest in primetime, spent years watching it's re-runs, and paid, at the time, a good chunk of change to buy the entire series on DVD. Forget Quest? NEVER!!!
