Johnny’s Mosrite just sold a little shy of $1million. He played it for 1985 shows, from 1977 thru 1996, 15 albums. Mosrite Forever. (Semie Mosely was my cousin)

My first Ramones moment was at 8 when I got to watch Rock N Roll High School with my brother. I never got to see the Ramones live. I did however witness Marky playing drums for the "Misfits". I did get to go on the Ramones tour bus that night and about 4 years ago I got to see marky again in Trenton, NJ. The Ramones have always been a staple in my music collection. I have so many memories attached to those songs. I am glad you got to witness them live.

@@Oyaji_Music Thanks man. I was lucky I had a punk rock mom. Born and live in NC, but when I was 2-3 we lived in New Jersey. That’s when my mom bought the first album and the rest is history. Do yourself a solid and KZbin search “Lou Reed reaction to the Ramones”. Freaking priceless.✌️

As I recall, Johnny only ever really played two guitars - the first one was a blue Mosrite that got stolen in 77 and a white one that was used from then on until the band broke up. There are occasions where he used other guitars on stage but that`s due to the fact he broke a string during a concert and would return to the Mosrite when that broken string was fixed. Check out pics of that white Mosrite to see how battered it was

Correct! However, I was referring to the reissues that came out. I believe there was an official “Road to Ruin” model before some of the recent John Ramone signatures. Cheers!

I have that Fillmore Johnny Ramone guitar, bought it some years ago. I think limited edition, to how many I don't know. Wish it was made to Johnny's Mosrite guitar spec, as the Fillmore guitar neck is way thicker and wider!!! I used it as a reference when I painted Johnny from a black & white photo. Pity I can't post photos here of it and 3 other Ramones ones I have painted poster size.
