if I was there the crowd will had to move! Born at the wrong time never had the chance of seeing in my opinion one of the best guitar players of all time. Rolling Stone magazine realy forgot you. Long Live to Johnny your music will never die. One of the artists that I will show my kids when i got them. And maybe they pass him to their kids. And this is the ideal song to dedicate to my ex.

Kids in the crowd looks like characters of Bret Eston Ellis' "Less than zero", The same who used to go at the Roxy. Well, now they perhaps are big shots in Hollywood as their parents were in the novel (oh my).

This gives me a tingle down the spine despite being well over 30 years old. Imagine being there.

"It is a terrible day when you lose your hero, for you shall never love that way again". Dunno who wrote that, but that's how I felt when JT died.

The way the guy dancing onstage just floats back into the crowd and disappears is hilarious. What a band these 4 were.RIP

I used to spend all my punk gigging days down at the front, pogoing in the mosh pit. Except for JT gigs; I never ever moved a muscle at JT gigs simply cos the man had the ability to transfix me! The man was hypnotic. The only other musician that has been able to do that before or since JT is Mark Lanegan.

no, he had his bad days, and that's a good one. mostly he is good, but some are pretty down, that makes him perhaps even more true and unique. i was born 1986 and never seen em live. but i listen to all i can find. my favorite artist is iggy, and i seen him a lot with the reunion stooges.. my fav recordings of his solo are the 77-83 lives, which i am happy to have a huge collection of. he was more professional performer, and his shows are of more equal quality of performance.. j.t. gigs are swinging pretty mad, depending of his states and drugs probably.. and it is fascinating. my second favorite performer after iggy, and of course the original dolls. jerry is the most underrated drummer, with billy they were incradible.. there is a 1979 detroit show - pure smack on fire!

@@hwb-zalpach Yeah I an for sure see that now. I was like 14/15 when I commented this and have a way different view on things now. Prime Dolls kicked so much ass! Especially compared to anything Johnny did solo. Live wise at least imo.

@@jam4996 can't say that his solo was worse then dolls, heartbreakers are fantastic, and other of many bands he had. with andy mccoy for instance is killer..

These 4 could really rock, a shame what heroin did to JT and Jerry. This was some group if not for drugs
@keithglimmer45055 жыл бұрын
I agree. It would have been better if Walter Lure had gone out on this tour/couple of gigs but Barry is pretty good backup for JT who is relatively clean at this time. I heard that they planned more gigs but JT, unbeknownst to the others structured the gigs so that he got paid more because of the acoustic set he does. Jerry got pissed and quit....again. This is some of the best post heartbreakers Johnny Thunders I have seen.

They were like a dysfunctional family at times. Loved seeing KK back with JT , this is my favorite heartbreakers show. I never understood why they weren’t more popular.

@mariosthunders The thing with this crowd (imo) is that they look so bored. They're better at the acoustic part, but still.. Doesn't look like they really care for the music. And BTW, someone actually throws a glass of beer in his face later in the show.

in my opinion,the crowd doesnt suck so much as you guys say.i mean ok,most of 'em are looking like lazy cows and dont move even for a second but its better than other shows,where the crowd was insulting Johnny and was throwing things at him.At least the guys in this crowd shut the fuck up,watch the show and respect the performer.They even sing along in some acoustic songs performed later at the show.Not so bad imo.....
