Wow i feel flattered to learn that the stig feels that its impressive to brake with your left foot as well as thats what Michael Schumacher does. Ive asked many of my friends and im the only one that uses my left foot. Im defiantly in the minority i guess. Thumbs up if you use your left foot.

Johnny Vegas has never been a favorite (not favourite, I'm American) but I found him extra funny in this clip. I couldn't tell for sure, but was that a standard transmission he was driving? I just saw Christopher Eccelston's SIARPC lap, and he drove an automatic! (He only has a license to drive automatics.) And this was on Top Gear! I mean, I wouldn't be surprised to see that if it was Top Gear USA (llaammee), but this is a proper car show with people who know proper transmissions!
@TheCarArchives969 жыл бұрын
StephenB it's a manual gearbox as you can hear it break a bit
@moggsy719 жыл бұрын
StephenB Christopher Eccleston had only passed his test 14 months prior and only in an automatic car. In the UK if you pass your test in an automatic you are only legally allowed to drive an automatic car. And they are quite hard to come by at short notice. Johnny has no driving license!
@stephengnb9 жыл бұрын
morag roberts I'm aware of the automatic license in the UK. I just don't see why he couldn't drive a manual if it's a closed course. Since Vegas doesn't have his license, but he's still driving, why couldn't Eccleston do the same? Automatics aren't as fun and are easier to drive than manuals (standard transmissions.)

When Vegas does stand-up comedy or sit-coms....I dislike him. However put him in an interview (or room 101) scenario and he comes to life. It feels to me as though contrived situations (such as sit-coms) do not work for him, they should let him ramble on as he is naturally.
@CzechMirco6 ай бұрын
I know exactly what you mean, though not with Johny (I saw him only in panel shows and never in any sitcom or any of his stand-ups) but with Noel Fielding. He is absolutely hillarious in panel shows and such (QI, Big Fat Quiz) but I've seen a few of his stand-ups and that was an absolute cringe.

Funniest Top Gear interview of all time! "For you, Jeremy! I've been doing it natural. That's very impressive. LOOK AT ME! You've give me a duff car! I abandon the priesthood. "The ballerina bit of driving!"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 What an excuse! "I couldn't find reverse!" 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 I love how he got lost on the last corner and drove around in circles on the grass. I also love his little dance just before being given the time! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 1 minute 58.6 may sound like a bad time, but, it is a record and a victory for him. At the time, he didn't have a licence and yet, he beat 2 people that had a licence.

@EnEsFive No. Over 200 years of segregation and racism created several segregated cultures in America. There is a "black" and a "white" culture in America, as part of the bigger melting pot of American Culture. If you studied American history and culture you'd know that. It's not all the same culture and it's not all the same mindset. People hang out in groups now because of decades of top-down "racialization", but that doesn't mean individuals are racists. There's a difference.
