Snivy's a favorite of mine too. My fave Grass Starter, actually. As for my favorite Fire and Water Starters, they are Scorbunny and Popplio respectively.

It's obvious that Turtwig was going to come after Bulbasaur in S-Tier if you remember that they're listing the tiers in generation order and Turtwig was before Rowlet

Just like your other Josh Scorcher reactions, I will probably come back to this video *multiple* times. I don't know what it is, but just like the chemistry between Wambu and Ari, you seem to be at your best when you react to this guy. No offense meant to the other reaction videos or the other content that you produce. Also, your reaction to the MLP Gen 4 finale is still my *all-time* favorite.

To me, my number 1 starter will be Rowlet. Plus when it comes to Decidueye, I love Ghost Pokémon and when he somewhat looks like Robin Hood.

Rowlet is one of the best Grass starters in Pokemon history, and he's spherical. SPHERICAL!

I LOVE REPTILES IN GENERAL! thus I love snivy line(or if I may) Smugleaf line, in regards to Brionne's name I say bre(as in breathe)-own because of the theater aspect to it especially since it's trying to 'own the show' if you get what I mean and the bri part i do get the multiple interpretations to it, it is a water type and the spelling looks like brine but personally i think it's meant to be like breathe as theater actors(correct me if I wrong) especially in musicals have to do quite a lot of breathing practices just to make sure they can do the entire performance without being TOO winded afterwards because they likely will have to perform the same performance multiple times a day.

I've only played Y, so between the starters I've played, I would pick Fennekin. I personally found her to be more useful and I liked her design more. She's actually the only fire type I am interested in compared to others. I did decide to do something fun and draw my own starters (in fact I came up with my own region) and I based the region of my state of Texas and when I was researching type match ups I was surprised to see no Fire-Electric type yet so, so my fire type would eventually become one. I'll be curious to see the evolutionary lines of the Starters for Violet and Scarlet. I definitely want to get Violet (I know my brother will get Scarlet, his fav color is red lol). My youngest brother grew up on Pokemon (he was at that perfect age when 1st gen came out because he saw the anime, but I think technically Silver and Gold were his first Pokemon games so it's no surprise that Cyndaquil is his fav starter (I just asked him since he's played every game lol).

When you say about no fire-electric types, don't you count form changes such as a certain oven from gen 4?

Charmander has always been my #1 Starter! I’ve been a fan of that Pokémon ever since Gen 1. I, unlike a lot of people appreciate the treatment that Charizard has received because it is a very cool Pokémon. Plus, it deserved the dragon typing from the beginning by looking like a dragon and rightfully earned it from its Mega X form.

It couldn't have had the dragon type from the start though due to the type triangle that is formed from grass, fire and water, the dragon type would throw that completely out of balance by resisting all three

Yes. He *NEEDED* to be given that. Objectively the best Starter for Gen 1(speedrunners feel as such, and statistically so), and best Mono-Water Starter. Feraligatr? Decent, but only with Physical/Special Split & Sheer Force. Inteleon? Fun Special Sweeper, fun coverage, fugly design. Almost all other Water Starters are either temporarily OP, or trash. Quacaval? STUPID DESIGN & TYPING. Seriously, Keldeo did better than him, Mythical or not. Swampert? FANTASTIC TYPING, but _PLEASE_ give us a better Speed Stat, or better Defenses, outside of Mega's(no cheating), since it's just an instadeath, from ONE LEAF BLADE, OR LEAF STORM. Just be faster, and Swampert's finished. Honestly, Empoleon & Primarina work great, simply because of great Defensive Typings, even with crushing weaknesses. Heck, Greninja's just great as an All-Out Attacker, with not much to add, anyway. Too bad H. Samurott isn't as good as it's original, without Ceaseless Edge. Also, in USUM, Primarina & Empoleon are GREAT. Power Trip Empoleon is SO FUN. Also, Water/Fairy, on a Special Tank? PRIMARINA IS A PLAY STYLE THAT I SHOULDN'T LOVE, AND I CAN'T RESIST. Pretty much my reasoning why Tapu Fini is my favorite Island Guardian. Ranting aside, at least Water Starters are better than most Fire Starters. *_I HATE BLAZIKEN._*

C tier feels kind of jerkish... I like popplio fennekin and snivy. But that's my own personal thing
