I'm so damn lucky, since 1975 I've seen Johnny Winter over 30 times, I used to go see him two nights in a row, I loved him so much... I saw him so many times, I met Jon Paris a couple times and got to be on Johnny's guest list..

I saw Johnny Winter perform so many times,he got me into Rock ,Blues Guitar playing. Its a bit Ironic I saw the Bass Player Jon Paris perform in 2014 at B.B. Kings in Manhattan, I spoke with him,a real nice man. It was 2014 when Johnny Winter had passed away,we talked about Johnny Winter. Winter had passed away in 2014,he did a signing in 2014 in Hamilton, Canada, I didn't even know about it I was devasted. Hamilton is less then 1 hour from Toronto, R.I.P. Johnny Winter thank you for giving the world a lifetime of great music..

@@billridge1178Last I saw (around 2017-2018) Jon Paris was Living and Gigging in New York city. He used to run an open jam at BB King's "Lucille's" Club on the lower level of the restaurant in Times Square. Jammed with him a couple times back then at the open jam. He was a really nice and Chill Guy. Hope he is doing well as of now (2022)

ABSOLUTELY KILLER “Serious as a heart attack”!! I heard JW live in 1988 up in Canada. Fantastic show, a bit more laid-back...if such a thing is possible for him. This performance in Italy burns the place to the ground ! I’ve been a JW fanatic since 1969 - still am. No one like him - vocals and guitar totally unique.

this reminds me of the old stero systems from when I was growing up 4 records and 8 track tapes there was 5 settings on them 1 volume /2 treble all the way 3 tone all the way 4 bass half way 5 balance half way that the only way U could set it 2 make it sound good U couldn't add no power amp 2 them when stero sound and 3 way speakers came out it was alot better sound and the change over was 4 the better a better sound the true sound of the electric guitar 🎸 and the sound of music 🎶 should ring true just like a bell 🛎 or a dinner bell 🛎 I notice this when I listen 👂2 music 🎶 it the 1ST thing I hear and most guitar 🎸 players play in C natural which is concert pitch 44O 😊😅🎉❤🎉 ❤/😊😊😊🎉😂❤ TLC/OMG 7 9 2O23

Caught them in Mannheim Germany on the Third Degree tour. Dr John opened and joined in on a few songs. First time I'd seen Jon Paris. He absolutely was on fire.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter played in pistoia blues festival in 1988. I saw mr Winter few days ago in Rome,awesome,but I missed the best of all the best.....Stevie Ray was and still remain the number one. Mr Winter signed my vinil album "Serious Business",one of the great moment in my life.I told him he was the number one with Hendrix an Vaughan,he smiled....

I saw those three at the Warner Theater in DC right around '87 or '88, with Roy Buchanan opening for Johnny, and Hot Tuna opening for him. I always thought that Johnny was really in his prime in the mid-late '80s, and that band was right up there with the best. He put on a really amazing 2 hour show that night, and his fingers never took a break, they just stayed a blur.
