make sure on your test drive to really rip it hear any weird noises suspension wise u can knock off at least 1k check the bushings and everything you can see thats rubber look for leaks valve cover leaks are very common for older cars make sure they change oil wipe the dip stick with ur hand to check for metal shavings rev it up to 4-5rpms to hear for a knock or slight rattling top end of the rpms most likely a knock if ur buying a manual ask when the clutch was replaced that will cost u

@JohnnyB.2 жыл бұрын
Yes! 115k miles is pretty low still, in my opinion. Motor should be good for at minimum 250k! It'll always be hard to know if the previous owner abused it. Check out the buyers guide video I made for things to look for! They usually need new clutches at around 150k miles, but that's about it besides regular maintenance like fluids! Appreciate your comment!

I have a 06 auto with 89k miles on it. I always have two cars after I got my z so I only had 20k in 7 years(my other daily’s were 05 civic, 08 manual mustang and now a 23 bronco and also pandemic made me drive less). Every time I drive my z it will make me smile no matter what tranny it has. It’s sensitive, powerful and accurate. Recently I’m doing restoration work, replacing broken plastic parts, interior and exterior paint(and rust spots thanks to rust belt area), weatherstrips due to rubber hardened by UV, give it a wrap and 90k routine maintenance. Almost stock except upgrade struts(not coilover) and trunk lift. I would say it’s more than enough for me to enjoy driving a car
