I believe that he does sell spike, but has a long waiting list. That is why he does not need any more publicity.

I'm trying to figure out what it's from. My first guess was that it was from a bicycle geared hub, but none of the exloded drawings I could find came anywhere close.

OK, I was not actually mislead. My comment was intended to be humorous and snarky. I was mildly disappointed to find this was not currently for sale... and you can keep your KZbin license. I don't actually have any authority to revoke that.
