So obviously the flaw in your argument is that “naive” and “straight killing machine” are incredibly watered down boring derivatives of a character. I just played through a few of the older games. Number 4 Last revelation and number 9 underworld. In both of those games there were great lines that really showed personality. Just saying we could go into how much different the gameplay is with the reboots and whether you like the old school acrobatics or the new school naughty dog rip off, but if you play any of the older games it’s obvious she had much more personality before reboot

I am not pride of this, but I just beat the final boss changing to the easy mode. In normal was really hard with just two health packs. Thank you by the gameplay. I played this game by the first time in 2014 in my ps2. Almost a decade after I finally finished it on the steam version.

So, to make a long story short: This is a story about a girl, left to drown after her lazy ass archeologist "friend" ditches her and doesn't bother to come back looking for her body to bury properly. Years later, the girl has moved on with her life, adopted a pet and found herself a loving boyfriend. Yet, all of this is about to come to an end, as the old "friend" is coming back for a closure, killing whoever is in her way, mostly poor security workers simply trying the best to do their job.

Honestly I agree, this game would have been amazing if they made everything the same, but just upped the graphics of everything. The only thing I wish this game did better was the interaction between characters; Lara, Zip, and Allister have perfect banter and I constantly found myself laughing at their jokes, but I felt no attachment to Amanda whatsoever. Not to mention the lack of a reaction when Lara thought she was dead, or when she finally saw her in real life. Or Amanda's reaction to Rutland dying! Who the fuck is this guy! I only know that he's supposed to be the stereotypical villain, but we know nothing about it, I didn't feel a n y t h i n g when he suddenly died. Though, when did they remake Legends, Anniversary?

I replayed this game recently. I managed the whole game on Hard, but on this boss i had to change to Normal, because it was practically impossible. It seems like this fight is glitched on Hard, because sometimes one single blow of the monster can take away about 80% of health

One thing I don't really understand, why did Lara blame Amanda for killing her mother? Was that because Amanda told Lara to pull the sword and her mother happened to hear to it at the other side of the portal and pulled out the sword and warped into Avalon? But wasn't Lara who put the sword into the stone trying to find out what will happen firsthand, and, also, wasn't she the one who touched the sword at Nepal to activate the portal?

+Yee Huan Chong Lara's mother was listening to what Lara and Amanda were saying on the other side of the portal. When Amanda said "take out the sword because it will explode if you don't do it", Amelia did it and disappeared. That's why Lara blames Amanda for Amelia's death.
