More than anything please tell the government to implement strict rules regarding driving in highways and all roads in Sri Lanka. Like you said this is a Buddhist majority country that respect ALL life including animals and all living things. However when it comes to driving this is the WORST country that do NOT value human life.

Loved your video of the stunning Jetwing Lake. It's set in a fabulous location which my partner and I had the pleasure of visiting. We stayed in one of their beautiful suites which I hope you had the opportunity of seeing. The quality of the fabulous food was beyond excellent and we loved the hoppers at breakfast. I can highly recommend staying here. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and friendly.

You two not only experienced the traditional village lifestyle but also did enjoy the barefoot living as well. These folks live a very healthy life because they are always barefoot in day to day life. In other words, when you're always in touch with Mother Nature, she takes care of you and your health. Go barefoot as often as possible for good health and happy feet.

Johnny, Try to visit Sir Padaya if you have not visited it. Some people call it as Adams peak. It is plance where anyone can go for free. I think the season normally start end of each year and go for few months. Stay a night on top and see the sun rise. You both will like. We are happy to see foreigner enjoy by visiting Sri Lanka. Do you know: More than 90% of the worlds true cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) comes from Sri Lanka. Hell it even has Zeylan aka Seylan > Ceylon , an old name for Sri Lanka in it' scientific name.
