Laura had me at the first 45, "All Night with Me" in early 1982. I started playing it on the old KFTW, and they liked it, too. Atlantic finally sent me the LP, and that was love at first sight. Stayed that way, even when the hits didn't come. If there's a heaven, you're there. Be at peace.

The song was originally done by Maria McKee. Laura Branigan had a beautiful voice, unfortunately, with the exception of Gloria, self control and a few others she wasn't given good material. She deserved to have much more success.

I need to correct you about Laura's birth year...She was born July 3 1952, in Mount Kisco. Not Brewster as her biography says. Laura's little brother Billy had already occupied 1957, Feb 28 to be exactly.
