I'm outraged this treasure has less than 4,000 videos to date. Please know, John, that the current low view count does not reflect the excellence of your performance, arrangement, recording, and camera work. My hope is that one day the Algorithm will smile upon you and that this comment, obsolete by then, will be buried under the praise of the droves.

Beautifully played - very clean with nice dynamics and articulation. No mean feat! There was a time when a stigma around video games and gaming presumably blinded many to the beauty of the music written for games - it was known to a niche audience. Thankfully the medium has gained much wider acceptance now and there's more awareness of just how good game a lot of game music is.

Ohhhh mannn you did 2AM! My favorite track off Animal Crossing Wild World (right behind the cafe theme). I've also done a piano + melodica arrangement of it, along with custom lyrics. The recording was sloppy, but I had fun. It got harder and harder not to comment as the video went on. The Girl Who Stole the Stars was just fantastic, and lots of delightful surprises speckled across the album. Still going through it!

@@JohnOethGuitar will there be polls for tracks/franchises, new cover material, or would they be mashups of your single theme cover vids?

@@Firemasterlucky5 they are stitched together songs that I have released. Some of the tracks are Patreon requests. Those Stereo TLM 102 really do a great job. How did you treat your room? What reverb are you using? I really notice the improvements since your first videos. This is the video that got me to subscribe good sir. I LOVE your stuff -- might have to go visit the Patreon. I've got Nathan Mills on my Patreon list too. He has excellent production quality, so that's good company to keep. =)

Yeah, I love those mics, and funny enough there is no treatment to the room I was using. It was carpeted though with lots of junk in it. haha My new studio has acoustic foam everywhere, so I record really dry. I use Altiverb 6 for reverb. I have been trying to make small improvements to everything, but I am still an amateur in most things. And yeah Nathan Mills is dope. Thanks for listening and the support!
