I remember Pastor John took time to shake people’s hand , during a roller skate for the church . I was putting my skates on he came and sat by me and took the time to hear me and pray for me . He took the time now a days you got pastors with security and a don’t touch me Attitude . Learned a lot with him and reading from the Bible .

Thank God this man saved me from committing suicide. I was into heavy drugs and I couldn't get out of it. Out of hundreds of people he came right at me put his hand on my head and started praying. My friend, the next day everything was gone. Not even smoking. I was totally free. That was in 1998, one year before he past away. God bless his soul. I know he's in heaven.

I will not forget how my life was transformed by the power of God to the praise of His name after reading John Osteen's book, the #1 Authority of the Believer. Attended in '83 to 84.Then started traveling with an evangelist.Miss him,he was so gifted and annointed.One of a kind pastor and could be very tough.He spoke out against sexual sin often.

Tom Jackson , 1983 when I graduated from high school and I was a fairly new Christian still learning then and reading scripture often and had a pocket bible with me in school to have it to read. Was a small entire imitation leather bible that can fit in the pocket . I marked verses in it with a colored pencil as a highliter . Now i have many bibles to study with at home but i wish i knew what i know now for back then which would make it more interesting . I was not as highly smart as other kids then is why. I rarely got an A as a grade but got a few of them before graduating.

I asked God for a word from him and this sermon came up and it is exactly what I was waiting for....I am a 53 year old woman and I have been smoking since I was 14, recently the doctor told me that I have COPD and if I don't put those cigarettes down that I will be wearing an oxygen tank to breathe. That has terrified me but I am struggling because it's my stress crutch, which I also suffer from depression and anxiety......mind over matter, and I know that the devil doesn't want me to put them down,he wants me to suffer, but I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️. I've had a tough year and an even worse past 30 days when it comes to drifting away from God. One thing I have come to know without question is messages like this sermon are 100 percent facts. Thank God he always pulls me towards him when I need him. Every time things get bad it's my fault for being weak when Satan tempts me. Every time I have been in despair and give it all my might to live in accordance with God my mind and spirit returns to light and a feeling of peace within days. Trying to never drift away again.
