I had the limited edition version which came out in 2018, it was a fantastic watch. First Portuguese with the full in-house movement, 18k gold rotor, enamel dial. However after two years I sold it. It was perfect whilst pre Covid I would wear it to the office, however it frustrates me that I could not wear it on anything other than the leather strap it came on. I matched NATOs, parachute, rubber etc…. But it was not diverse enough. Great watch for a office professional!

I went to the AD with the money in my pocket to buy this ex. When I put it on my wrist surprise surprise it looked too small. So my wife told me lets try the Yacht club which was the perfect size. It is one of my favorite from my collection.

I think you're letting go of a FINE timepiece. That said, you are in a stage of advanced collector's refinement. At some point you find out what you really care about and shake loose all else which are outliers. Been there and done that in a few hobbies now. I admit that I'm working on that when it comes to watches. It's the whole "I love it, I just don't love it for ME" thing.

Hi John, I can totally get how you're feelin. Plz don't take this the wrong way, you are good lookin guy at least probably better than myself but this kinda watches especially the portu line (not so sure about the green dial) are made for model like dudes, likes of Gosling, Cusack, Brad Pitt, Clooney maybe or that guy from house of cards forgot his name... but Rolex is different story. You can be Danny Devito and wear Rolex or Jack Black and wear Rolex. Heck criminals wear Rolexes and APs decorated with diamonds! You see where I'm going... any way good luck with your decision.
