Leather Specialization is a passive ability gained by monks at level 50. This passive grants a bonus to the monk's primary attribute, determined by specialization: Brewmasters gain 5% stamina, Mistweavers gain 5% intellect, and Windwalkers gain 5% agility - provided they wear leather in all armor slots. Leather Specialization is an armor specialization, created to encourage monks to use leather gear rather than cloth. You're gimped quite a bit if you choose to use cloth rather than leather.

Just a heads up Swifty, Monk healing is grossly OP at low levels. I remember healing my entire health bar in 1-3 seconds back when I was leveling my Monk. It takes a huge drop off at around 80 and then gets more balanced around 88-90.

Hey Swifty! Me and my brother started leveling monks yesterday (he have never played the game). I invited him to wow for the 300% Xp gain, got my heirlooms on and stacked up 3x 50% xp bonus (it was just for it to last alittle longer, about 3h) so yeah level 70 in 1 night. from 21:00 - 05:00. TIP: Get a level 90 to boost you in max highest instances you can join from level 60 (Outland) - 80 (Northrend) :) cheers from Norway!

everywhere i see says otherwise but i havent a clue myself and plus it does help having looms since you wont have to replace that item for awhile the extra stats really help with leveling even if they dont get anymore exp boost from them

yes! i believe i remember looking at the bonus thou and it was like extra armour or something, im not sure thou, but if its just extra armour and hes healing, then cloth is probably fine

Monks are awesome. I think you'll dig it man. A great mod for healing is Healbot imo. I really dig it for making healing comfortable and it allows you to keep a better eye on the group.

Bro when this came out I was just about to turn 10 (I turn 18 on December 28th) I remember being OBSESSED with MoP, my dad got my great aunt and her daughter into WoW and I’d play with them during the week then go stay with them and take my pc and play with them during the weekends, and I remember watching all these monk videos and I remember being OBSESSED with swifty, I miss when wow was in this state, I actually stop in every one in awhile to elemental QTs streams on twitch to say wassup and I ALWAYSSSS watch swifty, and ah by the time I’m typing this I just saw the raid call intro. crusaders still good due to the loom items and despite the tool tip only the heal diminishes past 60 the str proc never goes down. alot of the old rare enchants are making a comeback cause of the loom items. like the 8agi 8 dodge for backs, 25 agi to 2h works for the loom monk staff and if u have at lest a wrath leather worker u can put the 45 stam 15 agi on the pants which just need to be 70 to kick in.

If you recruit the same email and on the same battle.net account you can transfer it as it is account wide. The same server and same battle.net ID and you can transfer through the different accounts

Swifty as a healer Monk you should almost never use surging mists or soothing mists only when there are huge tank damage. Your heals should be mostly spreading renewing mists and use uplift. And you should stand in melee range and keep up tigerpower buff up all the time.

It does stack. all together you can get 300% xp, 55% from heirlooms, 50% from monk buff, 10% darkmoon faire. 415% total.

With Battle.net you can have 2 accounts under 1 email address, one being the RAF account and the other being your main, and you can mail heirlooms from one account to the other.
