Having blood presence on while in frost/unholy spec is really beneficial. it gives lots of bonus hp, damage reduction and stuff like that. the only benefit you get from frost presence is 10 less runic power when you cast frost strike

You can argue how accurate this is - I noticed, atleast with the elemental shaman and resto druid that I'm plaing on live, that they weren't doing their max - druid wasn't even in tree form!

btw the arcane mage didn't do the best he could, it's actually more burst damage if you don't use any arcane barrage and just spam arcane blast since it takes off your arcane blast buff/debuff when you cast anything besides arcane blast which gives you more damage and less casttime for your arcane blast each timem you cast it. but DAMN I didn't know arcane blast was that strong...sry for the long post I'm no good at summarizing :P

The elemental shaman obviously had 8 stacks of lightning shield and which the 9th stack was given by chain lightning, So the 38707 crit was from earth shock.

So Swifty, I was wondering if you had the chance to try out Fury and Arms in the beta and on PTR, what are your perspective on these two new talents as they have received a rework if you've had the chance to try it. Also, if so would one of your new videos be with fury and arms spec testing that would be great. I am playing warrior and it is simply impossible to do any mages. And.. it seems so that if I was fury I had more wins in duels because of the burst. Arms it pretty good no doubt.

@murdurdollz Use blade storm to get out of their cc and remove the bladestorm effect and charge, use pvp trinkets, if Human use racial ability, use heroic leap. Eventually the mage will run out of cc abilities and then you nuke. Throwdown is useful as well in certain moments. Try to keep up harmstring. Remember to use keybinds.

With the prot warrior u can't really count that because they also do alot of damage from "revenge" when u dodge them so the prot warrior also missed out on alot of damage.

Just wondering, Was gear taken into account for these? Like the people you dueled where they near the same lvl geared? I know people are going to start saying skill over gear but really if you are comparing classes bursts there will be a difference if one has say 6k spell dmg vs someone who has 2k.

@btsimonsen Are you kidding me? Obviously I was referring to Tree of Life, which is VERY much still here. The only thing that has changes is the form - it is a COOLDOWN. Let me read up Wraths tooltip for you: Tree of Life: Cast time reduced by 50 %, damage increased by 30 %. Who needed to l2p?

@snakeboy1111 It was "Whipslash" of the sukkubus (wl pet) it existed for a short amount of time in the cata beta. if you used it on an enemy it catapulted him into the sky like an astronaut^^. Sorry for my english im german :).

Hey swity, hope you can help me on this. I see you are using the Megalodon headset, just picked one up a few days ago and i have a problem with hissing noise when i use my mic. my mic sensitive is 0, and my mic level is low, i have updated the firware with razer's recent update and still have some noise, do you no of any fix here or do u experience the same problem? cheers :D

honestly, the burst damage output that some classes dish out can only be achieved in certain times in pvp, for instance that prot warrior yet was slow but imagine just attacking him in battle he's gonna get more rage and more blocks for revenge procs etc damage shield, so the dps still isnt at 100% before of the rage starve or whatsoever.

I'd assume its titled wrong, considering Cata didn't even come out until December 2010. This video was released in October 2010. I doubt they'd be doing the PTR for 4.1 while 4.0 was still in dev.

@CichyNightwave I don't believe so.... highest hit = hardest hitters. Burst, is the ability to do a lot of damage in a small time frame. If you want to frame it in two globals, you'll have a different burst list, than say one like this video, where the frame is the time it takes to defeat his pally. Also, if you're doing two globals, are you talking about at any time, or with setup? Of course this video isn't all that accurate anyways. Low samples, no guarantee of player experience, etc.

ele shaman should open with lightning bolt then chain lightning then flame shock (all these will hit the target at same time) then pop elemental mastery for instant lava burst then chain lightning cause it's faster cast time than lightning bolt.
