That is how broad the sweeping the statement you made to my post. Do not assume any ones politics either. He is the Current PM , out electioneering instead of having discussions with Europe as he should be as proof his prorogation , was not to prevent House of Commons , challenging him , making him accountable.. Who is it , that recently renewed contracts too outside medical assessors like Athos and Maximus , as it is not enough a Persons own GP and Specialists medical Opinions are not suitable enough for DWP choosing to take mostly reports completed by unqualified or not as highly qualified supposed Medical Personnel that make spurious reports about people living with disabilities, or Terminal illness decide they think a person is capable or work . That would be a massive cost saving listening to true professionals , than paying out millions to other companies . Instead of keep having people in for medicals for benefits, they then take too Tribunals and lose, how much more Money is involved there , wasted. i expect you also believe 130.000 deaths attributed to delays in benefits or turning people down for any benefits at all , can find no way other way out of their problems , other than taking their own lives or Tribunals taking so long the Claimant Dies from their terminal illness is acceptable too.

@The Truth what are you on about? I'm guessing it's the Irish backstop, but that's there to stop the UK breaking an international recognised agreement with it's own citizens, the EU would prefer to have a hard border with non-EU countries but Britain begged them for the backstop to avoid being seen as pariah nation... The EU obliged for the sake of Ireland. Boris threatened to leave without a deal and the EU were ok with it, even when he said no-deal = no €30billion exit payment (basically walking away from paying it's bills/obligations). For the past 3 years, the EU has stuck to it's position while members of the British govt have constantly lied and backtracked. British MPs have even threatened to starve Ireland into forcing the EU into making a UK friendly deal.
@elftax5 жыл бұрын
@The Truth it was the agreement that was negotiated by the Leave Govt of the UK, don't blame the EU for bad negotiations. The EU has always played hardball, as the worlds largest (and riches) trade block, it holds all the cards and has taken on the US on behalf of it's members. It has absolutely no obligation to be nice to Britain, it's international body not the WI. It's pathetic how Leave supporters are painting the EU and some kind of evil entity, it's doing the best for it's members. Instead of leaving, Britain should have taken control of the EU with competent MEPs and commissioners, instead Britain sent charlatans and frauds like Farage and Nirj Deva (spent more time lobbying for Sri Lanka than UK) who were too busy lining their pockets and building their profiles to do there actual work... Farage was a member of the fisheries commission and renowned for not attending meetings.. And then you cry about Britain getting screwed over fishing rights. The sentiment of Europe has now changed, across the EU people just want the Brexit saga to end, and if it's a hard Brexit than so be it.

This kind of ambush is a bit unfair. He's only been PM for a matter of weeks and he is responsible for managing an entire national domestic and foreign policy agenda with the NHS being one of them. Whatever you say about Mr Johnson, I'm sure he or any PM would not want to see the NHS fail. The NHS, along with our Armed Forces represent the greatness of the UK. That said, however, I'm sure that American corporate interestests are focused on the UK regarding the outcome of us leaving the EU and the dismantling of the NHS in favour of a US based for proffit system is obviously a situation that would make them salevate. As a duel UK/US citizen (I have lived in the US since 2012) I can't assure you that we most certainly do not want a US based for proffit health insurance system. Such a system is stain on the moral fabric of the country.

I can’t stand Labour. Whether this man is a Labour activist or not he has a right to say what he said given his own personal circumstances. He is first and foremost a father. What is questionable is the fashion in which he did it. Instead of being with his daughter and mother in what must be a desperate time for all of them he is hanging around in front of the press doing a very bad impression of a ‘chance’ meeting with Boris. In this ‘chance’ meeting he shouts to cause a scene clearly for coverage from the press himself. He holds Boris responsible for the NHS understaffing as a result of austerity, when Boris has just got the job and is there to ask the question what can be done, supposedly. Both men using a worthy cause for political gain in front of cameras for a public display. This is simply political manoeuvring by both of them. As a father he could talk calmly but forcefully to Boris in front of the camera, it still would have been heard and recorded!! At a later date when he has less pressing issues to deal with, by all means take Boris to task if he fails and make it clear to the public that he had spoken directly to Boris, there would be video evidence. The way he behaved is as a Labour activist and therefore his message is lost because his motivation will forever be questioned. Stupid man who needs to get his priorities straight. The people who’s opinions I really want to hear in this situation are the nurses who have to put up with a display like this from shameless politicians every so often. I’d love to hear their frustration with this posturing. Maybe their a little offended by a man openly criticising the level of care his daughter is currently receiving. Maybe they want to give the PM a good dressing down with a few choice words followed by a roundhouse kick!!! Instead they remain professional, who’s showing leadership to who here????
@realityalwaysbulliesopinio19615 жыл бұрын
Black Philip You may have a point about only knowing what we’re told, but I think in this case that’s a stretch. As biased as the media can be I don’t think any of them would pass up the opportunity to expose a guy lying about something like that. They’d love nothing more than a story like that. Look what they were saying about Cameron’s son dying in the Guardian just this week. Their headline was about his ‘Privileged Pain’ . Tide is turning on the left wing of politics, their exposing themselves for what they really are. If anyone got caught taking a chance like this though whilst involved in politics their career would be over. This father was on LBC earlier today with JO’B being an activist so it makes you wonder where his priorities are? Never heard it first hand. At the end of the day not many people are bothered with scratching beneath the surface. Most just talk about their heroes and their villains. The question that nobody asks is just because press were there and he has a Press handler with him does not necessarily mean he organised them to be there. He’s the PM he can’t go anywhere without press following him and its a public hospital. They can’t wait to stitch him up, Luxembourg was only the other day. That was an organised setup and so was the girl in Doncaster so I would agree with you on those ones but surely not about a young one at deaths door. Just how low will the left go?

If UK doctors, each treated 1 person a month who was not entitled to free care, we would need several new hospitals, many millions of pounds worth of new equipment and fittings plus the staff to run them. Tax payers would be up in arms and our politicians would be under pressure to explain the drain on precious resources. Yet that is happening right now, but because it is spread out across the NHS people think it's not a big issue. This man is complaining that his child nearly died due to under- funding, but if we were not in the EU and insisted on visitors having insurance, there would be sufficient funds to cover the World class service we once were so proud of and our nursing staff could be well paid and less stressed.
