This was a great movie - one of the better ice skating movies I've seen.! Leah Renee is a very natural actress, she was a joy to watch. And the scenic backdrop is truly breathtaking. Loved the story line.

Here's a couple of questions to all the viewers here who were born and raised in the US, if I may … I'm a Russian guy who is planning on taking a month-long vacation trip to the US for the first time ... My American buddies invited me over and told me that they could offer me a rent-free place to stay in a suburb of San Diego, California, and in downtown Austin, Texas ... Being on a tight budget, I would be able to visit only one of those states ... Which of them do you think I should choose and why? My main interests are practicing my American English with native speakers, visiting natural wonders and meeting single women searching for a life partner. (I sure hope that American women are as nice and caring as they are portrayed in all those Hallmark movies). Also, my friends suggested that I learn to use some US slang or I won’t be able to communicate with the local residents on a proper level but I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort … Won’t Americans be trying to express their thoughts in plain English seeing that they are dealing with a foreigner? I went to MSG to see Sonia Henie skate many, many years ago. She was an Olympic Gold Medalist. She was a Norwegian-born World Champion. She went on to become a professional ice skater and a film actress. She died in an airplane crash enroute to Oslo. It broke my heart.

Around 1:06:15... I wish the Dr had told Julian, Claire’s condition was directly related to weakened muscles caused by frequent cortisone injections he had encouraged her to use when she was injured. A lot of athletes shorten their career by listening to greedy, overzealous coaches that do not give them adequate time to heal between injuries.. Training is important, but set backs happen, and coaches always want to immediately go to Cortisone.... my advice to any sincere athlete is to pay attention to what the Dr in this movie says about her weakened muscles being a contribution of frequent cortisone....their career will last longer and their body will be healthier if they take the rational route and heal without the injections. I really like this movie.
