✨A >GOOD< movie, starting as a getting away from an abusive husband… then unfolding into unexpected blessings-Worth Watching!👍👍 And besides the positive life messages conveyed, the whole story hits home as genuine. The actors play their parts well. And the whole story has a very real feel. The ending is heartwarming and graced with valuable messages.💫 ... A serious point, as is shown in the beginning, is that IF one's in an abusive situation/relationship… you FIRST MUST Get Away. That doesn't mean it's gonna be simple or easy, yet UNless you first leave the abuse, nothing else can change for the better. (I knew a young woman who had run away from an abusive father, and then left a "BF" that was as bad or worse. Healing can be a slow process, yet the first part is to get away from the abuse.)

What a great Christmas story, highlighting Spiritual lessons in a non-preachy way, pivoting around the new kid in High School and how he uses his intuition to win over a judgy student body. Wonderful actors who seemed real rather than polished. I could watch it over and over, learning something new each time.

I’m watching this movie again in October 2024 and it’s still so very touching and important to display the love of God to everyone even if some don’t deserve it. it got a bit cheesy there. but over all good movie. tho most kids who end up that badly bullied... end up going columbine. 😟😔 the bully guy didnt deserve expensive sneakers. smh. ya like thats gonna make it all better and the bully to just change over a few seconds. like he said "they dont want him". ppl like that hardly ever turn over a new leaf.

@@ssppeeaarr I think you miss the point, mate. It is an uncomfortable situation for anyone receive kindness, when they know it's undeserved. However, being kind to the bully made him address his behaviour. Knowing that he didn't deserve it, the bully was ready to reject that kindness, but he eventually relented and thanked him. The plan worked.
