How to Start and Operate Yard Machines (MTD) Snow Blower 8hp 26"

I’ve got this 26 inch Gardenway by Troy Bilt snowblower and the thing is incredible, it has the 10 hp Tecumseh engine and a headlight. It’s also pretty rare, I never see any Gardenway products in my area.

Nice vide! I just recently purchased this used but the front auger doesn't want to engage, the small rear one does, can you tell me what I need to do or if I need to replace the drive?

Check your front sheer pins to make sure they’re not sheared. If the rear auger is spinning, and the sheer pins in the front are OK, but the augers are not spinning in the front. That normally means the gearbox is bad.

I have the same machine the chute is actually metal and needs a collar to be able to adjust and hold chute in place or rotate. Where can I get a replacement collar?
