Hey John, I did send you a replacenemt for the anchor cable. It was 1.8mm Tan cable laid rope. Anchor ropes generally aren't brown in real functioning ships.

Hi Ben, yes i have seen it but it wasn't enough for the 4 anchors, so i decided to go with the one included in the kit.

John, Très joli ces quatre ancres avec leurs supports. En plaçant les grandes ancres avant le gréement, vous aurez peut-être moins embêté avec les haubans ? Bon courage pour la suite et à bientôt Yves de Lille (Nord de la France)

It would have been very difficult to pass the ropes through the dead eyes at the point you tie the anchors. After all the outcome is exactly the same, why make it harder?

Were there chains in the kit for the anchors, John, or was it rope that you then substituted with the ropes of scale?
