I have been thinking about jesus alot lately. I told my husband that i am ready to give my heart to jesus.i have suffered from two strokes i give all credit to jesus for sparing my life. i am grateful for surviving 2 strokes. Please pray for me thanks.

I was driving my taxi around Oklahoma City today and was feeling quite depressed. I have known the love of God in my life, have felt his presence and his will so clearly. But that time passed and I have felt lost for some time. I pushed shuffle on my Petra spotify playlist this afternoon, something I have not done in a very long time, and God used one song after another to speak to me--a very real and clear dialogue. This song capped off the dialogue, and by the end of it I felt God's love once again, so very real and so very present, even in the midst of my seemingly endless desire to run from him. God loves us so very much.

Listen to this song so many times when I was way from my wife when were were first married and I was sent to different duty stations while in the Navy. I still listen to it today to help me find my way home when I feel lost spiritually, when I feel like God has turned His face away from me. It's an anchor for me so I dont get swept away by all the problems of the world.

I had bought 2 day pass & got the all day wristband (which was to include seeing your concert) but when I went to the gate to see your concert, they said it was extra for the concert. This is such a wonderful song - not only the lyrics but also the melody and the chord progression - full of borrowed chords, secondary dominants, static modulations, modulations to the parallel minor. I really wish that today's contemporary Christian artists would strive for more creativity, both musically and lyrically. Some of the contemporary lyrics seem to just be vain repetitions over and over again and the melodies are simple enough that a five year old can sing them. Paul tells us that as Christians we should get off of the spiritual milk and go on to solid food. I truly feel that today's contemporary Christian music is written on a child's level.
