There is a guy up in Chester that builds custom exhausts called Russ Fellows who also has a drag beetle similar colour to this. The difference with his is that its got 1000bhp and it's running a monstrous turbo. I think its the fastest beatle at POD at the moment.

​@@kevinu6004 I had a 150hp Beetle with an additional 50 shot kit and it definately does add around 50hp...It went from a 13.7 to a 12.8 on nitrous and you won't get high 12's from a Beetle with much less than 200hp, but like Jonny said it's more about torque and with the nitrous on it would pull like a train from very low rpm's

Absolute credit for building all from scratch, but for someone like me who knows nothing about drag racing being sub 200bhp seems odd and it also didn’t seem to be fast or have much of a sensation of speed from watching it. Still each to their own tho.
