Hey, I saw where they are gonna build Grand Texas in New Caney on the 59 and 242. Is it gonna happen for real this time ?

they've completed the several overpasses into 59 but they still need to finish grand parkway

funnyquacker Just anxious, Houston has been without an amusement park since the closing of Astroworld.

I heard that it is still happening. They are having some issues getting infrastructure, like getting enough power to the site.

Frazette Brown They've been making some slow progress but as far as I know, it is still coming. They have been clearing trees on both sides of 242 now. Like JohnYChen said, they're having some infrastructure problems but I recall them completing their water system so at least they have something.
