Nice to have video, but I still read the manual for the installation as the video did not mention the isofix guides and I wanted to know what they are

They must have updated the manual because loading the car seat into the kzbin.infoUgkxIG_q-ZqgbzYXwbeApK3AybegDUy4f2fF double stroller was mentioned in the manual (unlike previous comments/reviews). The undercarriage basket is quite large but it is difficult to access when the back rider is reclined, however my toddler usually doesn't fall asleep in the stroller these days so I haven't had an issue. I was amazed by how smooth the ride was and how easily I was able to maneuver the stroller in small spaces. My toddler loves that she can see her baby sister (see photo) during the ride :) Plus you can't beat the price! I have only loaded it once in my car and it is fairly light but my mother wouldn't be able to lift it in.

@@aleksandratarit7937 Just tilted it back and wriggled the isofix and leg thingy until it clicked right into place and felt more solid. Actually, the bit of wobble helps over bumps etc. and have been using it for a year or so now with no issues or concerns - great piece of kit!

​@@aleksandratarit7937 I did some research and some wobbling is expected as this helps absorb some kinetic energy in a crash. A stiffly installed chair sends the energy to the baby effectively which would obviously be more dangerous.

Tried this seat today. My LO is 5 months and the buckle seems too far under her and the straps are sat on her thighs rather than uo towards her hips. It seems uncomfortable on her legs when tightened properly for the shoulders?

Just wasted 20 mins trying to install the Joie 360 in the centre seat of my Vauxhall Astra and finding the ISO spacings are wrong. Then the penny dropped - you can only install the child seat on either side!! None of the videos or Joie instructions mention that. A bit of research revealed that some stats claim the child is safer in the middle. I'd be interested to know if any cars have iso seat attachments for the rear centre seat and whether car standards are changing regarding provision for fixings for a centre seat?

I don't think I've ever seen any car that has isofix in the centre seat. If there are ones with it I don't think it's common

this may be too late however I have a Honda CRV 2010 which does have centred isofix fixings and have successfully managed to fix our Joie I-Spin in the centre passenger seat.

We had an accident today. A very fast vehicle came and hit me from the left rear door. I was driving the car. My wife was sitting behind me (on the left). The baby seat was mounted on the right rear. Thank goodness everyone is fine. The car was badly damaged. With the impact of the hit, we went off the road and spun. Do you think I should change the seat? While removing the baby seat at the service, I noticed that the locks are still green.

Yes, you should deffinetely change the seat. As far as I know you even at a minor hit (~10km/h) the producer recommends to change it. You don't know if there are any inside hidden damages, so better safe than sorry.

@@pamilyasaalemanyaYT My son was six months old then. He was sitting facing backwards(rear-facing), he is now 26 months old and still sits like that. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends sitting backwards until age 4.There was a lot of tension in the neck at the time of the accident. That's why we sit it facing backwards.

I've installed the seat as the instructions in the manual and this video state. The seat appears to have side to side movement (rattles and shakes when going over a bump on only one side of the car). This seems to be movement from the ISOFIX clamps. Is this supposed to happen? Vehicle is a 2017 Volvo V60. Thanks

Stephen Barrett I get this on mine too, struggle to get the fit right so that the seat base doesn’t wobble a bit, despite all the iso fix connections being green

James Walsh I didn’t. After a bit more research it turns out the wobble is deliberate, helps to absorb any impact rather than it transferring directly to the child

I'm struggling to set up the isofix in my car. Everything shows green but the isofix is an inch higher from the actual car's seat. How do I make it sit snug on the car's seat?

You need to shorten the support bar using the small grey tabs at the bottom of the leg. Then while holding the base in place lengthen the leg until it locks green without lifting the base.

Just purchased this seat and when trying to spin into the reward facing position the seat gets stuck / is difficult to turn due to coming into the contact with the back seat itself. How do we fix this? All connectors are green? X

Using the ISOFIX adjustment button, try adjusting the ISOFIX one click (without removing the ISOFIX connectors from the anchor points) to give the base of the seat a bit of room from the vehicle seat. Be sure to adjust the load leg as needed to keep it green. Hope this helps and happy spinning!

80kg guy here, can confirm it is a pain in the ass to install. After that it's smooth sailing though. Only wish the handle for turning the chair and the one for changing the angle switched positions. Now it's always hard to locate the turning handle.

This video is factually incorrect. The side panels are not released by the tightening of the belt as suggested. This occurs when the front buckle is pulled forward and laid flat over the edge of the seat.

Hi Al! You're correct that it is the movement of the buckle that activates the Guard Surround Safety panels - the belt tightening moves the lower belt towards the child which activates the panels.

@@danbrown7673 Hi Dan, since no one answered you. It can ONLY be installed with ISOFIX. Not a combination of ISOFIX and seatbelt. For example in some Maxi Cosi products there's ISOFIX + Base + Leg extension. And the seatbelt runs through the base whilst the base is connected via ISOFIX. I hope this answers your question, that it is ISOFIX + leg extension. Regardless of rear for forward setting. And the seatbelt is simply not applicable.

Releasing these harnesses is the worst idea in engineering and is a borderline scam as it renders the seat unusable if you have a small baby. How do you think that I alone, while holding my baby, first set the pins together, lock them, then pull the harnesses with one hand while pressing the button with the other, then releasing the harness and putting it aside to put the baby in, all while holding the baby. Buying this carseat - my worst decision.

А зачем держать ребенка на руках и фиксировать штыри? Все проще! Повернули кресло к себе, посадили малыша в кресло, сверху надели ремни, закрепили их в замке, подтянули ремни. Когда нужно вытащить малыша расслабили ремни, отстегнули, забрали ребенка. У нас такое же кресло, и это, пожалуй, самое удобное их тех, что были ( с 3 детьми). Единственный минус это вес, если его нужно переносить в другую машину.
