Today I'm scaling up this vintage pattern from a size 14 to a size 22 or in other wards bust 36 to bust 45. The pattern is Simplicity 6601. The copyright date on the back is 1974. It belonged to my grandmother and was most likely made for my mother in the 70's. This is my first try ever using this method to change the size of a pattern. In this video I'm making the toile for the jacket of this outfit and will complete the rest of the suit next week. What do you think? Can I do it? Come along on my journey and find out. I will also be making the dress into a 3 piece from a 2 piece set.
