@@AlPepperRuns We were a bit inefficient at the some of the stops with it being our first Ultra but finished in 15 hours 45 excluding the stops. You sang a bit of Bon Jovi, I was the guy that ran past as you were doing that. Great voice LOL.

Great video. I ran / walked some of the hills along side you guys on the off-road section. Your enthusiasm was great to see and the camaradie between your group was in contrast to my solo run. Looking forward to the next part.

Well done Al! Can't believe how many ultras you've done this year! I'm usually cheering the runners on from the cabins in Ovingham but had to leave early this year. Saw some runners coming through the site around 3.30ish. Amazing achievement and look forward to part 2 🎉

@AlPepperRuns 😁 Was going well until Hexham! Then the blisters and injuries kicked in 🥴 Had to slow walk it out to the finish. Got in just under 22 hours. Hope you enjoyed it!? Was a great event. Hopefully bump into you at another race in the future! 🏃🏅

Absolutely love this and made an appearance at Lanercross Priory with my support crew. I believe you met my hubby several times running in the opposite direction from each checkpoint as he ran back to find me.

Absolutely fantastic event I got in for 0030hrs was aiming for sub midnight but was holding on for life from 50mile onwards 🤣 but very happy with my time 17hrs 32mins

Hi! Apologies for the late reply! Congratulations on your upcoming 10k and races really depend on where you live. We’re lucky to have some brilliant organisations up here but it’s worth searching ‘best 10ks’ etc. and then seeing what’s near you. I still do that now should it turn up something I’ve not heard of!

Unfortunately the wife had to pull out at 24 mile. I finished in 15 hrs 48 mins, best time out of the 3 I’ve done. We are still thinking over if there’s going to be a 4 th attempt. 🤔thanks for the reply Al
