bro when we are going to far off places , it is a one time experience , so staying at a good place ( even though it might be expensive), would compliment the experience , instead of staying at a cheap place ( for eg in maldives instead so staying at a local island , if you had stayed at a private island , you would have had a completely different experience , yes it may be more expensive but that experience would be worth it , so for places like that , paying more and getting a once in a life time experience would be better than cheaping out on stay ) Your Thoughts ?? It’s all personal preference la bro? Maldives might be an exception since the stay is the experience. But in most other destinations, hostels are the best place to go especially if you are young and solo. That’s where you get to interact with people from all over the world; that’s where you find people to share costs for tours, taxis and guides; that’s also where you get inspiration for your next trip.
