TPOT House Managers want you to know that meetings are back in person, on campus at TPOT! Join us on campus and provide support to clients and other alumni because you keep what you have by giving it away. We want your experience, strength and hope!
House Managers (also known as Behavioral Health Techs) are on the front lines of addiction treatment. They play an integral role as they are responsible for the safety and comfort of Turning Point of Tampa clients. This is done through monitoring, observing and interacting with clients and their families.
House Managers also serve as role models for the clients and actively participate in activities of the therapeutic community. They work collaboratively and frequently with all members of the clinical team, medical staff and ancillary staff, as well as clients, their support systems, and site visitors to ensure effective, nonjudgmental, and empathetic client care.
Many of our team members are in recovery and understand exactly how it feels to be on the path to sobriety. House Managers are there to support clients every step of the way, offering their experience, strength and hope as clients start to develop new life skills and new ways to cope without the use of drugs, alcohol and food.
