Tip: Sort the puzzle pieces and place them in labeled zip lock bags. Therefore instead of taking out a huge mound of assorted pieces, you can decide on what theme you want her to work on when she requests a puzzle.

Sunday uploads will work for me! I don't think Anne could've had a better mom, you are great to/for her, she is blessed to have you.
@AwlaboutTee4 жыл бұрын
Love the out of reach idea. To add to it, I'd store each puzzle in it's own ziploc bag with the pieces in the bag that way everything isn't super scattered and she gets one puzzle at a time. You can then keep the bags in the bin and save your closet space. Shoot I'm overwhelmed looking at it lol Any day for me but Sunday is cool cause there aren't a lot of people uploading then. I love your vlogs.

Sunday is cool. I love Anne's kitchen. As an ECSE teacher, I really enjoy your Autism mom videos, and I'm glad that you considered my suggestion about her toys. Also, with my cell phone, I take pictures of the actual items that my students like, get them printed as little pictures and I laminate them myself. Helps with requesting a specific toy. Great seeing Anne's progress!

First off, love your content! I work with children on the autism spectrum and some things a lot of my families purchase are sensory stimulating items. Such as a trampoline, a parent even bought a swing on amazon, not sure what Anne’s sensory needs are so definitely consult with her OT because some sensory activities could actually do more harm than good. Meaning they could be over stimulating or under stimulating. Hope this helpes!

Hey Vaughn. I love the autism mom videos and all the videos. Some of your 2020 vlogs showed Anne playing with KayKay and her twin cousins. Also I know she plays frequently with Preston her BFF. I'd love to see you address how you and your loved ones with children Anne's age are teaching them how socialize with Anne. I think it may be helpful. I grew up with a cousin that had cerebral palsy and my aunt and family took so much time out to make sure we 1. Actually played with her and didn't avoid her because she was different and 2. Leaned ways to safely play with her in a way that was enjoyable to us and most importantly, her. It was a lifelong lesson about seeing and caring for people with "super abilities"that I've taken with me since I was small. I'd love to see your take on that kind of content.

This was such a loving fun vlog. The more work you do with her the more she is learning and adapting. I love how you were showing her how to put the sandwich together. Anne in the little chef outfit was too adorable. She is is just too precious. You can already see she’s loving her play kitchen . She’s soon be able to incorporate helping in the kitchen. Hello Vaughn . I love watching your videos of you and your daughter she's so adorable I myself am a proud mother of a 18 Euro sign that has high functioning autism his favorite thing to do is put his headphones on and walk all around the kitchen through the living room it's like a circle and he'll do that for hours now was just listening to his music and he likes to go in his room and look at videos on KZbin he loves to watch things over and over so why I cook I let him do that this year he did make a friend at school I'm so happy about that but yes I wanted to come on and say I really enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing🙋🏽♀️😍😍😍💖

Happy New years Ms. Vaughn. I want to tell you that it is kinda typical for a 3 year old Toddler to dump her/his toys all over the floor, & not to play with them. Ann looks like she is doing very well, she is very vocal, & that is a good thing!
@tabkins4 жыл бұрын
You have a great setup for her. See if she would like to cook for the cat. Toy rotation is great to try also.
@kenyagriffin93724 жыл бұрын
Yup, I would definitely take the Montessori approach with her toys and bring things to a minimum (simpler the better for any kid) and to only make a few toys accessible to her, and rotate her toys, otherwise her space can seem crowed and overwhelming to her hence why she dumps her toy bins ❤️🌈☀️ love these vlogs 🙌🏽 ANY vlog you do on any day!!

I don't have a child with autism but it's so interesting to learn about the behaviors and coping.
@JoAnnaTheSoulStringerJohnson4 жыл бұрын
I love when you talk about Autism related things. You know I have two over here. I have to put most of their toys away and let them pick one or two toys at a time otherwise there will be toys all over the place. Anne's twin over here saw that kitchen set and was grabbing on me like she has to have that!!! I'm definitely going to get them THAT!!! They love playing make believe cooking stuff. And they love there food chopping set. I have to check to see if you linked that set in the description box because that's a winner for sure. I need to find a way to do a PECS system for my older grandson for getting dressed correctly because I let him dress himself and I always have to correct it. He does it wrong every time. He's 6 and is still not as verbal as children his age but he's progressing quite well. And I need a reinforcer to get my 3 year old granddaughter to eat because her food aversion is severe. We're working on it though. 🥰💖💕
