Nah, I did understand that part. She was mad at Allen for bullying someone for no reason. And she was mad at Ran because instead of protecting her, he ran away and left her alone with 3 guys who were interested in her. He didn't know she was trained in martial arts, and even if he did know, you don't expect 1 girl to beat up 3 guys. If they stayed together and got attacked by the guys, they at least were with the 2 of them against 3. But Ran ran off and left her to get r*ped.

Before I even start the video, I'm going to place some bets with myself. A normal story would be about how a girl feels like she's being parentified because her boyfriend is so immature he literally can't function. This unfortunately happens a lot all over the world because for some asinine reason a lot of boys aren't taught how to take care of themselves ("that's a woman's job" is the excuse but really it just sets boys up for failure - also side note girls, do not put up with that, you aren't there to rescue them, its up to them to go out and willingly improve themselves not up to you to save them). But since this is one of those animated react things, I'm actually putting my bets on this girl somehow finding out her genetics were used to make her boyfriend. Somehow. We will see if I was right. Edit: I always know these videos are going to be so stereotypical and 12-year-old-fanficcy and yet, and yet, I am still caught off guard every single time when they dive all the way into the fanfic rabbit hole. "how will you protect your girl" and "I'm trained in martial arts" ffffff. But I guess I failed in my predictions, because I didn't predict they'd go for the 'he wasn't being a stereotypical man that and also he was being abusive but we're going to just call that childish instead of acknowledging it for what it was' angle.

Funny how they are feeding those stereotypes but on accident show why the pressure on men to be super masculine is so harmful. They turn to toxic behaviour to “make up” for not having dominant traits or because of separation anxiety. Obviously it’s no excuse, there are enough “unmanly man” who don’t develop manipulative behaviour, but I still feel like less gender stereotype based trauma and resentment would be good for our society and general mental health.
