Joining Caesar's Legion CHANGED ME

I needed to make a change. I've NEVER allied with Caesar's Legion in Fallout New Vegas and that's simply... wrong. But to spice things up, I decided to make this a permadeath run with a couple other twists. Watch to the end to see how far I make it!

I went Caesars legion literally my first playthrough. Everybody is terrified of them, ncr is an absolute mess as far as stability and supply lines which will kill you in a war, Even Cassidy says that people don't generally suffer the way they do in the west under caeser And she has absolutely no reason to say that.

I always to melee builds. They're extremely fun and overpowered in New Vegas. I also impose the "no chems" rule on myself. Thin red paste and blood sausage all the way.

My second playthrough of New Vegas was a Legion Unarmed run. I thought that wasn't hard enough, so I added rules like no explosives, guns, chems or stimpaks. I later did another Legion run with harder rules because it was too easy. The Legion's hilarious. Swords and football gear win wars in this game.

gonna be honest, melee builds are extremely strong and borderline unstoppable against anything but an army of strong enemies, (I mean that isnt surprising), You can ignore and rip and tear through even the strongest enemies with super slam and raw damage. The best melee weapons are Oh Baby, Bloodnap, thermic lance, and Ulysses Old Glory. Old Glory is a little late to the party if you dont play lonesome road first but besides that it has the farthest melee range and highest damage potential with its V.A.T.S ability Super Slam, with good durability to boot. Also Bloodnap is actually busted basically being a stronger version of Chances Knife

I have never teamed up with the ncr. Seems silly to me to team up with a faction that everyone hates but hates less than the legion. Sure I helped that hopelessly incompetent faction do things, but its house or yesman for me every playthrough.

Don't get me wrong, the Legion is evil. But Cass has a point. They keep the roads safe and don't suffer from the corruption the NCR has. Oh yeah, and the sign between California and Nevada isn't actually behind Nipton. The real one is behind Primm. But yess, it's over 100 miles. It's a bit over 115 miles.

Btw, when you bring companions into the Lucky 68 they stay in the “casino” or showroom, the room where you enter into the building to get on the elevator. ED-E is probably in there. They automatically stop following you and just stand there

Lapse in judgement 😂 Yeah they had to cut a ton of legion content because of the fast development cycle otherwise it would feel more even as there would have been legion villages to visit and actual legion characters

You did a great video but I have to say the legion kind of got done dirty due to it will do to the game being having a lot of content cut from it because the legion itself is a lot more like the old version of the Legion than it is in like the sense of it just being a Raider gang is actually more like the Roman Empire they are a meritocracy based I guess you could call it Army the lowest guy is running around with like a 9 male or a 10 mil and a machete the higher up you go you get like a 12.7 MM submachine gun a thermal Lance a i bumper sword or even a anti-material rifle these people they love guns they just don't like giving it to people that they don't see as worth giving it to anything other than that the majority of it is just content that's been cut by I think inside the Bethesda or obsidian who is the last person to do it
