Exactly. I'm sorry to see PBD being fooled by this guy. Also - back in 2019 I saw Arestovich say in an interview that it was his intention to draw and provoke Russia into a war in Ukraine in order to get NATO involved. This I believe is still his intention. Sorry to see Patrick is so naive on this - dangerously naive.

@@roman-co1hg Why? Because it's forbidden to speak Russian in Ukraine. Little kids were beaten up in Kiev for listening to Russian songs. And it's not like the songs were about Putin, just stupid love songs. During the UN sessions, they apologized to Zelensky because they couldn't find a Ukrainian interpreter to translate from Russian to Ukrainian even though it's his first language. I heard his Ukrainian is not even that good.

Absolutely, 180 degrees turn on main points! He’s an intellectual con man, no real consistency deep within. I’ve been watching him 2,5 years ago in Russian language. He has quite a lot of knowledge and skills in different areas, but a person with real dignity wouldn’t be doing such intellectual juggling, sugar coating things to be more likable and wanting to say to people what they want to hear. Plus his rating in Ukraine is pretty low, there’s simply no way he could become president in the near future :)

He was a supporter of Biden. He used to call Trump supporters ‘Trumpists.’ Now I am listening to him, not believing my ears, as Arystovych has become an ardent fan of Trump. I know very well that before the war in Ukraine, Arystovych was a big admirer of the founder of Russian fascism, Alexander Dugin. With all due respect to Patrick, but as I guy from Russia I would like to address fellow guys from Ukraine majority of whom share united culture with us and 400 year history. Wake up, take a look at these people, Patrick said multiple times: “Who else will want YOU from outside”. I tend to believe that people of Ukraine should decide who do they want as a president and don’t look forward to the West and its corrupt politicians and media who see this big and beautiful country as scarecrow for Russia. They have never wanted a prosperous Ukraine with good economy, they brought only death and devastation. Just remember how the life was before 2013? Don’t let a small fraction of idiots decide what you should do, take the power in your hands!

Great idea, adopting a neutral stance can be a great strategy for avoiding conflict, especially for nations situated between global powers. Neutrality allows countries to develop pragmatic mechanisms to trade and cooperate with both sides. In this case, with the European Union and Russia-fostering economic stability and mutual benefits. For NATO, what would be lost if Ukraine or other nations like Georgia and Moldova stay neutrality? Neutrality doesn’t undermine their sovereignty; instead, it could potentially serve as a bridge, reducing tensions and building trust between opposing blocs. Such a policy might even enhance regional security by discouraging confrontation. It’s worth considering neutrality as a constructive framework for diplomacy and cooperation in volatile regions. This approach emphasizes coexistence and the pursuit of shared prosperity over aligning with one side at the expense of the other

about UAs neutrality - No, Ukraine has not been officially recognized as a neutral state. However, the issue of Ukraine's neutrality has been a significant topic of discussion, especially in relation to its geopolitical position between Russia and NATO. Ukraine declared its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, and its status as a neutral state was initially outlined in the 1990 Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine. This declaration emphasized that Ukraine would not participate in military blocs and would maintain neutrality. Ukraine’s 1996 constitution further stipulated its commitment to a non-aligned status. However, after the 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia and the war in Eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian government shifted its foreign policy. In 2014, Ukraine abandoned its non-aligned status, citing the need for defense cooperation, and began seeking closer ties with NATO. In 2019, Ukraine enshrined in its constitution the goal of joining NATO and the European Union. The question of neutrality re-emerged after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, as part of negotiations and diplomatic discussions. Some proposals were made regarding Ukraine possibly adopting a neutral status as part of a peace settlement, but as of now, there has been no formal agreement or recognition of Ukraine as a neutral state. Ukraine’s leadership, especially under President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been clear about its desire for Western security guarantees and NATO membership, rather than a return to neutrality.

There is no Ukrainian government - there is a coup d'etat, which led to such consequences. ""at the moment there has been no formal agreement or recognition of Ukraine as a neutral state"" The very principle of Ukraine's independence is preserved only thanks to its neutral status. no neutrality - no Ukraine.

Arystovych admitted why he communicated with Russian nationalist Dugin in 2005, when Arystovych was ready to swear allegiance to Moscow, as reported by Alexander Dugin.”

This candidate responds to questions as knowledgeable and experienced man fit to replace the current president of Ukraine. One alarming fact about the Baltic states is their utter disrespect and disdain for Russia and its president. Russia has the largest stockpiles of nuclear weapons, one of the most advanced military powers, the first country to send a person to space. It was the old USSR to saved Eastern Europe from Hitler. These are enough for them to respect Russia. Stalin may have been brutal in his presidency, he wasn’t a Russian. Until Ukraine and Baltic states stop being used to get at Russia by the west, their security cannot be guaranteed. They may even face extinction in a nuclear war for being a tool in the proxy wars. I thank the presenter for this enlightening interview.

I find these Ukrainian NPC trolls hilarious, calling Olexii pro-Russian because two years ago he was telling a different story-following the Ukrainian narrative, but now he's speaking the truth. By the way, the Ukrainian Rada will pass a law on mobilization that will force 18-year-old kids to go to war. That, in itself, shows how high the Ukrainian casualties in the war are if they need children to fight-all thanks to the Boris Johnson.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity. In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas. If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy. Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements. Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns. 20th September, 2021: Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO. NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter). We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster? Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest. Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland. Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”. Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it. Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country. Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list. Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list. There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence). The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present. Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave. Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P. The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims). The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter. Once the Soviet Union collapsed, NATO had no defensive responsibilities remaining. They were as obsolete as the Soviet Union itself. To justify its existence, NATO did, in fact, become the world’s premier international terrorist organization. Their ludicrous propaganda began after the reign of Yeltsin in Russia. Yeltsin sold out his countrymen to the West, just as dozens of other countries had done by the extortion of foreign aid and the threats of sanctions and ClA overthrow of their governments. Once Putin became president, the resources of Russia reverted to being the resources of the Russian people, which the West abhorred. Russia was no longer a satellite of the West. The US gave NATO license to declare the then economically exhausted country of Russia as THE enemy of the West, as a punishment for Russia prioritizing their own citizens over the insatiable economic bullying of the U.S. and its Western allies. Also the Russian speaking provinces in Ukraine all had a majority vote to become independent from Ukraine, this is recognized under international law, so legally Russia has not invaded Ukraine, Russia is defending the separatist states of Ukraine, look on the map and see that all the fighting in Ukraine is in Russian speaking districts, these districts in history have never been a part of the Ukrainian culture. USA and NATO(Ukraine) are the invaders, not Russia.
