Joining RoguelikeDev doing the Complete Roguelike Tutorial Parts 0 & 1

This is a record of me joining the subreddit / roguelikedev as they go through the complete Roguelike tutorial at rogueliketutor...
This will be a more or less vanilla run of the tutorial as I've not done it yet, but it's also a chance for me to test my knowledge against things I may not understand fully. I encourage you to join the event.

i am very happy you are doing these. i too have been on a dev quest for several years now and have made several neat games using python and a couple of other langs. i've had so much fun. I hope you do too. good luck, brother. ~Colt

I’m glad to read this. I don’t really have developer ambitions beyond being able to work on something if I feel it’s worth the time, but I think this kind of project/tutorial is its own reward. Comments like these are a nice bonus :)
