Omg, I literally just bought 2 Vindom rugs from Ikea with the same thing in mind. Can you feel the seam where you joined them, when you walk over it?

Did you trim the edges of the rugs before attaching them?

No I didn't trim them, the pile carpet helps blend the two together. Good luck!

It's been about a year, how's it holding up?

Well, Occasionally I can see a small line form where they are joined together but i just use my foot and mess up the shag and the line goes away. It must have something to do with the weave not staying n the same direction. But it works well, others can't tell its two rugs but I know where to look so other than the occasional ruffle its all good!

I don't like my IKEA rug, it is the Langsted Rug and they have cut it wrong so it is wonky and not a perfect rectangular shape.
