If only the yarn from the Roam (if I want to) socks you talk. I would love to hear their side of the story too about the adventures they had whilst they were away from you. Not wanting to wish our summer away but I’m already looking forward to the fall KAL. A little bright spark as the autumn nights draw in.

Congratulations on your son being able to study abroad in a STEM program. And I love yarn stories. In English, a 'yarn' is a story, usually a long one with a lot of excitement or interest. I believe each item I make absorbs the energy surrounding it at the time. I knit a baby blanket and sent it to my cousin in Ireland (I'm in the US). It was returned by the Irish postal service but had quite a journey back. I tracked it up and down the east coast before it finally arrived in New Hampshire! I was able to get it to her via her brother who was traveling there over the holidays. We say that blanket has quite a story to tell!

Thanks for taking me along on your “roam if you want to” adventurers. Did you notice that the yarn you’re using along with the so very pink Spin Cycle yarn that you “basically stole” from your friend Lotte is called Journey? And the colorway Latte is not dissimilar to Lotte. 😉 The tale continues, all starting with the theme of road trip. The universe is paying attention. Have a wonderful vacation. Congrats to your son on his academic achievements. Can’t wait to see Perri’s yarn reviews. What a great nee category. Also… when you’re on vacation … mind your knitting. Don’t leave anything behind. 😉🥰

For fun I looked up magpie in Spanish - urraca. I didn't think it was a soft enough name for your new bag. So, I decide to hit the thesaurus. One of the synonyms was actually patchwork! Also congrats to Nano from a science nerd from way back in time (okay I still like science).

Your poetic style is perfect and really enhances your stories. That sweater with Lotte''s yarn 😄 is beautiful! Good luck with cataloguing all your stash on Ravelry! It's a lot of work but does make it easier to track. I have a lot of yarn I got before I was on Ravelry that isn't entered there. !Felicidades a Nano y que disfruten de sus vacaciones! Fall KAL! Hi Joji! I am working on the Susurrus and loving it so much❤. I’ve been wanting to make your top since I saw it on the cover of Pom Pom and purchased the magazine. I fell for a particular yarn from Hypnotic Yarns named Raven. I just had to make something with it. It’s a busy colored yarn and I did not want an all over pattern. The Susurrus is knitting up beautifully. This is my first time knitting with silk mohair and surprisingly, to me I am enjoying knitting with it. I like the sock pattern with the silk mohair also.

Laines du Nord have Super Kid Luxury Line 25g /210m/229y. 75% Kid mohair, 25% Seta Silk. It is fine but has a distinctive silk thread. What an amazing story of those socks. ❤ I dont have such a dramatic story. I bought a Kaffe Fassett knitting book online. The seller was going on holidays and had to post it before leaving. Coincidentally she was coming to my state of South Australia and was coming through the town I lived near. I documented my yarn stash accumulated over Covid. Never had one before. Now its 9/A4 pages. But has all the details/amount/ply/dyelot/gauge. Not sure if I want to publicly put it on Ravelry. Put in plastic ziplock bags. Now to find patterns 🤪
